As a last-ditch attempt at repairing my A4, does anyone know/ have any contacts of someone who may be breaking an a4 with a complete front end?

I have been struggling to find another a4 like mine, and would rather get mine back as i loved it! ha

Thanks

Yes, it's pretty much the whole front end. Sorry for not being clear enough. It'd need to be pretty much a complete donor car, with rear end damage etc. It's a long shot I know, but I was hoping that some of you on here may have contacts (and i'm not on about the stolen to order stuff, lol)

And an incident you call it...haha. Only joking. I am considering a nice b5 though, the looked after ones look rather nice, and seem to be a fair bit cheaper.

nooooooooo, are you serious? that has ruined my night lol. Wasn't the one you were breaking a b7 though? And any chance of getting another for me?

Just out of interest, and hypothetically speaking...how much do you think you'd expect to pay for a salvage a4?

new panels are not that pricy mate if you have a look at europarts a wing is around £56 pounds and im very sure you can get them for less than that.
juat have a look around.

I will try get the parts list from the garage tomorrow mate. For now I can remember/ know a few.

Bonnet
Os front wing
Ns front wing (possibly)
Slam panel
Front bumper
Head lights (both)
Air conditioning condensor
A belt/ fan cowling (sorry that's not more specific)
Seat belt tensioners (are they only on front seats, or all 5 belts... my wife was driving, with daughter in back so only 2 seatbelt used if that makes a difference)

And anything else you might imagine would have been smashed in with a front end collision.

As said I will try get the parts list from the garage. I know that Audi prices came to 3500 for parts alone so there's a fair few. :(

I have been looking on autotrader all weekend and have found little in the way if replacement for it which sucks, hence why I telly want to rebuild this one.

iv seen wings at £56 each bonnets £125 and i think the slame panel is £23 all new at euro parts lights are £85 each so best to get from ebay iv seen them for £50 ish
but i no you can get them cheaper mate there is no way it will cost £3500 to put it on the road again and seen Seat belt tensioners for under £80

Thanks for the numbers Simon! The 3500 is audi prices for parts, the labour from my garage is £900, hence why they are trying to write it off. I agree about the price being able to substantially drop though. I will keep you all informed, and am eagerly awaiting a reply Turkster, haha. PM me if you'd prefer mate?!?

iv got all seat belts, passenger side air bag, dash board, the air con can that sits at the drivers side i think its a drier, Air conditioning condensor from a passat B5.5

I think from that list i'd only need the seat belts, ha! I have a few other leads that i'm hoping to ring tomorrow, but I will be in touch. thanks mate!!

why not go for a b7 front end, i think they look mint when attached to the rear of a b6? your doing the bodywork anyway so it wouldnt be wasting any parts

Wouldn't it add labour though, or is it all bolt-on? I dunno about the look of it either, i'm a fan of keeping it a b6 if it's already a b6. hmmm

i think it would make problems when you insur it if you change it to a b7 front

sorry to hijack, but if you do come across a scrapper A4, I am after a coin tray for my B6.

Any one got one?

Cheers

If i end up getting one, i'll save you the coin tray, ha!

Did you break yours with too many £1 coins in it? :)

thanks!

Sadly not, it looks like the previous owner tried to put £1 coins in it without opening the tray first...

hmm a coin tray i dont have one of these where is it
