A quick introduction along with this pic. Here is my 2002 225 S3. Absolute Red. Owned the car just over 1 year now and have enjoyed every minute. Car has done just a shade over 55000 miles. I also own a MK1 Golf Gti 1983 in Black and the masterplan is to respray the MK1 this summer from shell and completely rebuild then find a B5 RS4 in Nogaro Blue to finish off the trio, consider the RS4 as a family car. J

ian what do you use to polish your car?
loving the red s3s keep them coming guys lol
Jeffs Werkstatt Carnauba Kit.
Applied the Prime last May and just top up the top layer of Jett every now and again.

Welcome to ASN. Sounds like you have good taste! I'd love a black Mk1 GTi and a Nogaro Blue B5 RS4 too... Would be a great combo!
thanks bhavin1986. alloys are 18" dezent motions with 15mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the rear, lowered on fk variant 1's.

Finally got round to giving it a really good clean, spent about 4 hours on it, but well pleased with the results.

Spent two days cleaning the car, and had to have a cheeky photoshoot. Perfect new multi-storey car park at Uni at night so was deserted. Used a Nikon Digital SLR of some sort (borrowed), and a couple pals' VWs. Far too many pics to post, but here are a few:

A few pics of my A3, it's actually Ming but looks much darker in the pics. Fitted coilies at the weekend, happy with how she sits now. Anthracite wheels coming soon

Thought I better give the S3 a clean today and ended up giving it a pre-proper going over polish. Took some pics with the brothers 25th Golf.

RH Porsche Turbo Cup 3 - fitted on with adapters 5x130 -> 5x100
front 8,5J with 235-40-18 - rear 10J with 255-35-18
I had bought the S3 in dec '06 on RS6 18 inch wheels... MAM's so German quality!
I'm fond of wheels; RS6, New RS4, Evolution s038 black, New S8, what's next?
18" New RS4's titanium look - Dunlop SP 9000
With the Evo's, I have had them for 4 weeks, didn't like the look at all 18 inch is way to small for a black hart. With Dunlop SP 9000
And then what a lot of guy's will like:
2009 updates doorhandles and 20" Audi new S8 with Pirelli P Zero Nero
(never buy Pirelli's in 20", with even 8mm it will get useless and dangerous! the cheeks of the tyres will tear in for 4 / 5 mm so the canvas is way too fast shown under an Audi S3 with 250 hp and too much torque for these tyres)
2010: what would be next? black BBS CH / Le Mans with gray hart / Porsche 19" Wheels / or ???

Yes! This is what I want, but i'd be very happy with 18s.
Never seen 20s on an S3 before! They look huge! What's the ride quality like? Bumpy?
Liking the 10" rears on the A3, madness!
Everybody thought that the 20" were 19". Driving them is like 19" but the steering is different with 20"
The A3 and 255 at the rear... use the handbreak and the nose will move in fact of the back

Spent a lovely Sunday giving my car a spring clean and thought I'd post up some pics!
Only spent 4-5 hours on it, went over it with the DA and menzerna 85RE on a Lake Country pad. Waxed with Dodo Blue Velvet hard wax.
Still some light swirls remaining didnt have time to fully correct, (I will be giving her a proper polish in the summer over a couple of days) pic taken before LSP
