there just different companys remaps. Revos more agrressive than the custom code remap.

I think I want aggressive, its kind of on my nature. Im not intending on modding the car anymore than that, maybe some uprated shocks and sundries to tidy the ride up but nothing visual. I just think the 8L S3 needs a tweak to bring it up into line with the more modern hot hatches and this is of course a way to do it.

i have custom code which has a smoother delivery across more of the rev range, Revo is very much in one area...how do they cxompare side by side? neither is faster...thats the weird thing

by all accopunts CC used to be RE vo dealers then made their own maps and are definately cheaper than £399, although Revo offer the option to buy the SP2 (i thinks its called) controller which allows you to play with the settings, CC have a system but not as controllable (i havent bothered reading up on it TBH)

Revo has the sps serial port switch which plugs into your OBD port and you can fine tune it,you'll get the same power as its all the engine has to offer with a simple remap but its rapid and have yet to see someone who doesn't love it.

Plus with Revo you can go from Stage 1 to Stage 2 for £50...So in the long run it could be cheaper.

Im a dealer for celtictuning. Cant remember what I said for it to be deleted, probably envolved £££.

Yup you can go straight to Revo Stage 2 for £450. I've already spoken to them about this and will definitely get it done. I've also got the SPS 3 anti-theft controller too
