Help with part no. 8P0807521K S Line Diffuser

Hiya,

Managed to buy an S Line Diffuser off Ebay but think some trim is missing. The part number is 8P0807521K but looking at

it, it looks like there should be some trim recessed along where the tow eye cover goes. There could be 4 pieces to it

(maybe, guessing here).

Do any of you know if there is something missing please??

Is it from the 8P3? I can't find it on my parts list but it only goes up to 2008.

I've up to 2010 but on wrong pc at moment. Googling, i think that number with a T at the end instead of K is an s3 defuser (my german is poor lol)

as said, either a pic or the ebay lisiting would be handy .

Sorry it wont. The facelift rear bumper is all one part with the defuser attached, ours has a top bumper part & the lower bumper part has the defuser joined.

I dont think it will sarah.

The 2006 bumper diffuser is built into the bottom half of the bumper.

The one you have is only the diffuser.

You may have a problem there.

Yeah there's definitely something missing. It may be a clip in grill of some sort.

I don't know if they fit or not TBH. The rear bumper doesn't look any different from the 8P2 so there's a good chance.

Going by what the others said you must have an 8P3 bumper there!

TBH Sarah, I'd get a new front bumper. The ebay ones are often scuffed & unless your doing the work yourself the extra bodyshop labour can wipe out any 2nd hand savings.

TBH Sarah, I'd get a new front bumper. The ebay ones are often scuffed & unless your doing the work yourself the extra bodyshop labour can wipe out any 2nd hand savings.

Sarah, If that is your rear bumper, then it will fit as it is a 8p3 bumper which matches the diffuser you have shown.

And it should fit as far as I know

Right just been in the garage and the bumper part number is 8P7807511 and the diffuser did fit it! So looks like both are 8P3 parts!! So hoefully i'm safe in saying they will fit my old fella???

had a look at ETKA for insert, its kinda confusing! I think there is 4 parts or 5 if you had a towbar. But that style of bumper is only coming up as a 4 door rear bumper (though from pic it looks a 2 door as its doesnt have the bits sticking up at the rear lights) & its hard to be sure which parts are for with or without a towbar. I'd hate to give you the wrong numbers.

Yeah it's frustrating that they use the same picture for the two models no matter what year!

Crumbs the stealer wants £24.49 plus vat for each one!!!! Tad over £100 for small trim bits!!!! more than I paid for the bumper!!

I meant to add that at the bottom, that it was going to mount up!! Is your defuser 'new' 2nd hand part hence they dont have inserts? You would normally sell together rather than risk breaking bits taking them out.

Have you asked seller if they had the other bits for sale too? Failing that, looking at the pic, I'm sure a visit in person will aid a 10% discount

What did you search for on ebay? Have been looking on ebay myself for ever but no results.
