Anyone sprayed the grey rear bumper insert on an S3?

Cheers mate, was half expecting everyone to slate it after reading some comments above lol!

Yes it is standard mate for a facelift. The reason yours had a dip in it is because yours must be a pre-facelift? Mines a facelift and the lock panels are different you see. You can't swap them about either (from facelift to pre) as my friend tried to, they have totally different connections and fittings. Sorry! (although how annoyed would you of been if you had tried to like my mate was!)

I maintain that ANYTHING can be fitted with cable ties.....

errr, welly how did you secure your engine back in?

fran i like the colour coded insert on yours, its a slightly different shape on the facelift isnt it, mines pre and doesnt have that dip in it, just flat

think i may go with carbon wrapping mine, if it looks cack just rip it off again

sorry matey, not liking the silver at all, the bumper looks loads bigger and more subtle, just like an everyday hatchback rather than a subtle sports car

Would love carbon rear bumper insert and skirts and wing mirrors and front and rear rings, i like carbon haha :)

Its ok i found it here;

Any idea if its just vinyl? How hard are these things to remove?

Is the carbon a vinal wrap???

exactly what i was thinking vauxhall corsa lol

i think spraying them similar to oem would look good but colour coding doesn't look nice IMO to much of one colour
but if you like it do it, its your car

Ill get a pic of mine up when i clean it saturday, it looks awesome compared to what it did.

im liking your car alot
are you going to remove the rings?

Your car looks awesome Kev, was just thinking, the lighter grey looks sweet so what if your had the black bit of the Aero 18's sprayed the same grey? Big risk but just a mad thought lol

think im leaving the wheels untill they need a referb could'nt bring my self to risking ruining a nice set of rims, but have been thinking of doing the whole wheel antracite when referb is needed, there a really quality wheel though so cant see them needing referb any time soon :(

cool can't wait to see it at the pod

I had a very good result with T-Cut Metallic, as its less abrasive than the original...
