can anyone help me, i am looking to buy a set of alloys for my a4 b6 2002 1.9tdi ( non quattro), the alloys have come off an audi a3 1.6 2001 and where previosly on a vw bora. will they fit the a4.

thanks

In short no A4's are 112 stud

is there any way of making them fit, iv bought them now thinking they would fit because they are off an audi.

are spigot rings any good for fitting them

The spigot ring's are to reduce the centre bore not the stud hole's Audi a4 centre bore is 57.i the stud pattern is 5x 112 the spigot ring is just to centre the wheel on the hub. Ask the guy you bought them from if he know's the stud i(5x112) or (5x100) or you can look on the back of the wheel's, it should be stamped into the alloy.

I can't remember if 8L A3 wheels are 4 x 100, or 5 x 100 - but I do know they won't fit.

Audi A3 stud changed to 112 from 03 onward's

thats a shame, now iv got to sell them, any one interested there rs4 19's lol

can any tell me the exact fitment for 19" alloys on a 2002 a4 tdi sport, going to buy another set, this time the right one hopefully lol

jahed why don't you buy some HUB ADAPTERS then you will be able to run the A3 wheel's. The following is a safe bet= 19's should also be 5x112 cb 57.1 offset between 42-45 Rim width 8" to 9" . Alot of folk will try all manner of offset's to get the look they are happy with. Tyre size are as follow's again safe bet= 235x30x19 or 225x30x19 or 215x30x19 if you like a bit os stretch

Is your a4 a SPORT or SE Model.

can u tell me more about the hub adapter and perhaps a link to where i can get them please, your a top man this is wat i wanted 2 hear :D

Just go onto ebay and type AUDI A4 HUB ADAPTER. If the wheel's you have bought are 5x100 (just say) You then need an adapter kit that goes 5x112- 5x100. The A3 boyz like to use these kit's to go up to the 112 fittment so they can run a4 wheel's and mercedes wheel's . The kit are a good few quid so don't be shocked. Or buy a set of 19"x 8" rs6 replica wheel's from ebay.

Surely that's easier and cheaper?

Yes QJ . That's the route i would take, but jahed might like the A3 wheel's that he has just bought. 18"s also are only £400-£500 all in.

think im just going to buy another set, they are only rs4 replicas only downside is iv sent them of to be refurbed in shiney silver lol :crying:
hub adapters are too expensive.

thanks for your help guys

I only said that as his first post said "I am looking to buy ......"

I'm sorry jahed123 this just cracked me up lol. Now you should be pleased that you came across this forum... The good new's is you can sell them in the free ASN classified section with loads of pic's of the shiney wheels. You may find a buyer straight away if you hint in the A3 section that you have some wheels being refurbed.

shoudv wrote iv bought jus realised that now sorry for any confusion, the wheels are 19" rs4 replicas refurbed in shiney silver, going to put them for sale and keep the tyres and just get another set

Good stuff. Now you have a clear idea of what to look out for, just a little thought to dwell on you can also fit some Merc wheels as long as they within the correct offset.width. Merc wheels are also 5x112, it's the centre bore which i think is something like a 66.6 which you will then need spigot ring's which most wheel suppliers will provide with the wheel's . Good luck

i was originally looking at getting a set of AMG alloys, the ones with the thin spokes they look good on a4's quite a few of them about., but there quite expensive and abit harder to find

does anybody know where i can get a hold of these in 19" (pic attached) only need alloys already got tyres, there are ones on ebay but they are from international, any problem would cost too much in shipping to return.

help appreciated

So Bora wheels defo dont fit???

Early TT's and A3's, and I think Golfs too but I'm not sure on that.

Am i right in thinking the off set is 35-50 for the b6, which would mean with 20mm spacers/adapters and a 35et, this would make them 5mm to wide???
