I'll let the pics do the talking, MASSIVE improvement in my opinion  (just need some centre caps for the wheels now)

Looks good mate, IMO all A3's need a drop, they sit too high.

Expect it to drop another few mm too once the springs settle! :rockwoot:

Looks great, just need to find myself an A3....

cool, i have these springs waiting to go on (when i can be bothered more like) whats the ride like?

If I'm completely honest mate I'm not sure as I had to go out (not in the car) as soon as I'd finished it so haven't been out properly in it yet but I'll report back once I have...

Do you have any trouble getting over speed bumps?

I am buying an A3 in the next couple of weeks.

Though I have a polo at the moment on coilovers and have to go very slowly over bumps!!

I am hoping to lower the A3 also but only a little.

I've lowered my a3 about 65mm on Weitec coilovers, and have no problem with speedbumps apart from the small individual ones you get rather than the ones that stretch across the road

very nice lad, where did you get the springs from and how much?

Got them from here matey, £197 delivered which was the cheapest place I could find http://www.orange-tuning.de/shop/audi-sportback-sport-springs-4550mm-p-1087.html :icon_thumright:

STILL haven't been out in it yet bud but it doesn't look too bad in terms of ground clearance tbh, I've had cars much lower than this in the past with no issues so I dare say this will be fine

The small individual ones do you have to slow right down and go over two of them rather just drive over one??

How low do you think you can go and still be able to drive straight over the single bumps?

I make both wheels go over 1 bump each, like a normal speed bump, then im fine

If i put a wheel either side of 1 bump, i get a bit of scraping on the scuttle panel

RS_Cosworth, I think that looks bang on! Big thumbs up from me. :icon_thumright:

Can't think where you got the idea from for RS6 / S-Line rims and lower though....

Think I'm gonna have to get a spoiler now after seeing yours all done. P.S. I think Lava is an awesome colour. Ordering my mrs' 170 S-Line Sportback in Lava later this month.

Haha yeah, I wonder  Yeah I've grown extremely fond of Lava since buying mine I must admit, I was originally on the hunt for a black one but glad I went for Lava now! Just gave it a good clay & polish the other day aswell so it's really brought the colour out

Looking very good

Cheers bud :icon_thumright:

Still not been far in it (maybe 5 miles tops) but so far I'm extremely impressed with the ride quality, not too harsh but has eliminated all the body roll, WELL happy with them

This looks fantastic. What wheel width, offset and tyre sizes are they? I have the same wheels, same colour car but the 1.9TDI, but need it to be lowered! I feel like a 50mm drop seems too much?? (on mine of course - yours is sitting right!)
