i got the car resprayed to to there was alot of imperfection in the body work and paint work and i love my cars and always want them at there best so got a full respray in my perfect colour lol.
i dnt have money to burn lol its just i take alot of pride in my cars and have the moddin bug big time.
also my car has 100k on the clock so even tho its only 07 you could see it had done the miles in the bosy work.
the work is 2nd to none and is an amazing job, it was done my body technical limited in grangetown middlesbrough next door to were i work, got thw whole job at a cracking price due to knowin the bloke really well and he does alot of work for my dads company.

over all im am over tho moon ive only had the car since november and it is exactly how i want it
up next is the s3 front brake conversion im gettin of gaz m and a new head unit then later more power inc full engine rebuild but atm i love the power it has so that will be very distant future

Looks great. Did you consider doing the gloss black details matt? I think that would look pretty cool.

Presumably you meant to site the s-line badges at the front? Should do those black too.

no i wanted to do it all gloss black m8 to match my wheels, just need to do inside the head lights at some point

ye m8 i did just to to make it a little diffrent and tbh i refer them there, can you get the s-line badges in black? if so you got part no's

Don't think so but would have thought it a fairly simple bit of DIY

I was thinking of the DPF delete when my car *finally* arrives, but does it smoke under load or anything? I just can't be bothered with a smoke screen is all, especially as I have already organised a re-map and apparently that makes it worse?

with the tuning i have had done, the car smokes a little until on boost, however it isnt bad enought to see it thorugh the rear screen, i'll try and get a vid at some point so you can see also hear it, deffo worth doing tho makes a huge differance

beanoir - yes all the engine bay is solar orange too, it is even done to the same finish as the exterior as he knows i attend shows

Did they do the colour change without removing the glass? Not ideal, as however good the masking job, the paint doesn't get right behind the rubbers, and there's always a danger of it peeling from around there.

Looks good though, the gloss black touches make it.

for all taking the windows out is too, i had mine removed when i resprayed mine, forgot about eth fuel cap, however the bodyshop got that stripped for me everything else was bare

no they didnt remove the windows as i told them not to, also he pealed the rubber over and stuck them down then masked, he has done a gr8 job as when you pull the rubber back now it is orange right behind with no sign of the old colour, i no its not ideal but, imo thought it was pointless removin them and unnessasary expence

Great pics. Have you considered some sort of pin-striping on the wheels in solar? Either around the edge of the rim or to outline each of the 5 spokes? I just think it would give the wheels a nice bit of detail.

chris breezy your car is awesome man. Its a good feeling when your walking back to your car from somewhere and you see its completely immaculate paint job all around. Not a scratch in sight. I bet you turn heads wherever you go! How long did the work take and have you ever modified a car to this xtent b4?
