Post pics of your B6 A4/S4

I was bored today so put my fat fives off my old A4 on the car to see how they look.

They only have 225/40 tyres on them so look a little skinny and stretched. But I love um

(and don't worry I am not missing a wheel nut, that is the locking one on the back and I don't have the wheel nut covers for them)

Yeah I hear ya, was just trying them out. I do like the fat5's but I am going to put the AVUS back on anyways.

Loving the new S4 dsmclark30v it looks rather nice I must say. I think you should leave the door blades as they are! They look ace! I prefer the Avus wheels as mentioned by others also.

What car did you have before?


And loving the blackened A4 mattyboyc, very nice indeed! I debedged my A4 on saturday, but kept the rings. I had considered blackening everything but think i'm going to keep the chrome look...it's easier and cheaper :)

indeed it does, it just looks like a standard bumper on the s4 above, not the bumper it should be??

Cheers mate, I must say the door blades have grown on me and I like them unpainted. My last car was a B5 2.8quattro

Crofty90 - it looks like a s4 bumper to me
 
may well be, not trying to **** on your fire mate it's a nice motor just doesn't look like it's got a lip on the bottom of the front bump like J7USS's has.

Thats alright mate, mine doesn't have a lip on the front bumper . This red one on wikipedia has one though. mentions something about an Ultra Sport Package :think:

just didn't want you to find out it had had a front end smash and someones just bunged a standard bump on for cheapness, seeing as it should have a lip if it's s-line
 
so finely got some photos of my car up.
things ill be doing
boot spoiler chrome door mirrors
wheels will be changed and colour code the gray trims
and that about it for now.

That lip is from the S-Line style, the S4 is a totally separate model to this.
 
Just got my car back on thursday last week but due to the crappy weather i couldnt take any pics!. first we had Heavy FOG and then SNOW.... England..... tut tut ...

anyway, i had some work done, apart from the repair to my broken arch after it had an unfortunate meeting with a lamp post.

Audi OEM S4 Bumper including matt black grilles, s4 matt black upper grille, side skirts body colour coded.

rear bumper from a quattro sport TDI. i didnt want a dual exhaust S4 bumper because i didnt want to change my exhaust.

what do you guys think?

i know the colours of the body work dont exactly match, but i know it has had a bump or two before. came out really well i think.

what lights you got they look a lot brighter than mine :icon_thumright:
 
Like them wheels just needs a drop to finish them off nicely :icon_thumright:

they are an HID Xenon Kit. i got the 6000k ones.
new fog lights with stock bulbs because the S4 grilles are not compatible with the A4 fogs. one was misting up anyway so i think the seal had broken.

the kits are around £70 to £80 for good ones.


@ dannyFR+tdi --- i know it would look better but i honestly love the feel of SE suspension. plus i cant be bothered to mess with it... lol
 
so how do i no what lights i have and i keep reading about the HID xenon ones can i have them
 
Nice S4 Bumper, definately transforms the car. I have been looking for front and rear but can't find any for love or money :blownose: where did you get the bumper from?
 
am i wrong in thinking his front bumber looks the same as mine just the grills are not the same

no, totally different

SE front - the gray part on the bottom is seperate, clips on after the bumper in blue is fitted. grilles smaller as they have vents in place in the grey part.

i got it from an ebay seller, but didnt get them often. i drove from sunderland to north wales to pick it up. came with the 3 bottom grilles for £300

i think at the dealers it was £365 just for the bumper, no grilles. £20 for the fog light grilles (each) and £80 for the centre lower one.

The car looks great mate, have you thought about black rings to go with the graphite grille? Would finish it off nicely.

I agree on the SE suspension, although yours doesn't look as high as mine. Ride comfort is second to none, but mine really does need a lower.

i kinda want to keep the chrome rings, because i took off so much, like the lower and upper centre grilles.

could it not be because i have 19 " wheels and you have 18", maybe the difference in size makes it look different.

Yeah maybe, but normally 19's look even worse than 18's!

You know, i was looking at those comparison pics i just posted, and i actually think that the S8 reps i have go really well with the car. im sorting out centre caps for them next. gonna mod some original audi caps to fit. need 70mm to go inside the chrome rings.
would still love some spare wheels to swap them from time to time, like the s-line wheels.
maybe i can trick my brother into buying them. we can all interchange the wheels, but i wouldnt use his green bbs.

Sorry I've just seen this, I've not really got any recent ones since the splitter/blades etc was fitted. I will take some soon when the weather picks up and the show season begins :thumbsup:
