Lovely looking car indeed, I'm sure you're happy! See what you mean about the exhaust, it just looks weak, like you've badged up a 1.6, can't see it too well but looks like you may have to change the rear lower lip on it to house the twin pipes, or cut it???? Yeah the rear valence doesn't look like it will take a twin pipe. Hopefully anyone wanting to change to a twin will be able to just change the valence to a twin version.

this is a really rubbish question, but I plan on using my car to/from football. I dont want to get my seats covered in sweat. Can anyone suggest decent looking seat covers for the seats in the S-Line / Black Ed? May make them look a bit crap, but its gotta be better than a towel! :)

Sweaty seats for the win! Put on a pair of tracky bottoms before you get in the car ;o)

There are a few different seat covers around, but none I'd put on my seats.

Just ordered myself a 3 door Black Edition Tdi 140.

Going for metallic black with alcantara, technology pack and comfort pack.

Can't wait, but looks like I will have to - end May delivery......................
 
I hope you can have Quattro in BE's since that's what I've ordered!

Get this, after calling today to see if the car had been built I was told that it had and was awaiting shipment to the UK... 4-5 weeks before it arrives! What are they doing, pushing it from Germany?! :eiertritt:

Defo comes in Quattro Flavour as I have a Misano Red 170BHP Quattro parked right outside my front door.

It does handle really really well but I think the four wheel drive draws some of the grunt as it doesnt pull anywhere like my previous 180BHP Golf 25th Anniversary. Defo Defo needs a re-map to pull a little more mid range as coming out of a r/bout you seem to be changing gear just at the sweet spot if in second but not enough pull if in third.

Am still enjoying her though, 3 months and 5000 miles done now. Kerbed a wheel, which Im waiting for a quote to get rectified and had a rock the size of holland hit the front and chip it not even with 50 miles covered which once a bit dryer I'll patch, cut and polish back.

Bose System is awesome with a real thump. Alcantera is very sweet, and the blue tooth is a nice touch as Im on the phone most of the day. Single Shot CD is a pain in the ***, the lack of Ipod control through the AUX port is a bummer too (work wouldnt give me the upgrade because of the paint choice) but all in all, the car is sweet and still looks the nuts. 5000 miles of driving and Im yet to spot another Red, let alone Misano BE. Ibis White seems to be the most common! and all dirty!!!

You can, I've had mine almost a year now and done 15,000 miles in it.

It's a great car:icon_thumright:
 
Just been told my S3 BE SP should now be delivered end of April instead of end of May ........:thumbsup:
However I will be stuck overseas from mid April to end of May ...........................:keule:

The pain has just been turned up a notch !!
 
Been to my local dealer today as looking to upgrade to a S3 Black edition. I was just wondering what sort of price people were getting off the dealers for them?

I wanted the following bits:
Symphony stereo and bose speakers (dealer said there is a pack that includes both and possibly bluetooth?),
Heated bucket seats,
Automatic wipers and lights,
Ibis white.

They have said it would be £30,450 which is just list price i believe.

Yep, they do look great in white. Unfortunately our Company car policy restricts colours to black or silver :tocktock:

Having said that I spotted a 10 plate black BE by the Trafford Centre on Saturday and it looks stunning in the flesh, so I'm really looking forward to getting mine now. Just about 10 weeks more to wait :3sadwalk:
 
Great pics too deano! Car looks superb. Single pipe doesn't look too bad imo but mine will have the dual. Are you annoyed enough about it to want to get a dual setup?
 
Na the single pipe doesn't bother me at all. people don't even notice it.

Superb car btw - I bet you cant wait to get yours!

You're right there - very much looking forward to the end of May for mine to come along! Where is your last pic taken in front of may I ask?
 
Just picked up my 1.8. Double piped, but no start/stop. The 'boss' drove it home - not had a go myself yet!!
 
Any ideas where I can get anthracite wing mirrors or covers?

Also where could I get my calipers coloured in the Leeds area? Is this something that Audi can do?
 
This morning I have been told by Audi and my company's fleet services that my delivery date has been changed from the 24th May to the 31st August!! :motz:
This is a huge jump and something I will investigate as I ordered the car through the fleet company around 6 weeks ago.

Anyone else experienced a large change in delivery date now or before?

Any advice will be appreciated.
