how much bhp can you really get from a remapd s3 225?

forgot to mention ive got a 3inch downpipe/decat,custom exhaust, panel filter, forge dv,and sfs uprated hoses and 4bar fuel regulator

still dont think you get alot more than that, even with the best part of 1k bolted on. 260-270 is the limit of KO4 I believe.

KO4 will never top 300bhp...... use that as a basis.....although nobody seems to have pushed past the 275 ish mark and thats running silly boost with uprated piping and vaious other trimmings such as FMIC and other bits.....

Is it worth spending all the extra money for a bigger turbo, exhaust manifold etc when trying to get the extra power? I mean 270bhp in an S3 must be quite a tasty car!

BT conversion is a crap load of money n time. If you want 300bhp upgrade your turbo to hybrid, costs about £800 I think, someone will correct me soon.

I would say from a stage one map with the standard downpipe and cats you'd be looking at around 250bhp realistically. Once you change the downpipe and cat you may get the 265bhp, fmic may get you a bit more. You have to take into account that everything on the car is running exactly as it should to get the best output

How much would a stage 2 revo be pushing out roughly do u think?
Ive got a cat back milltek exhaust, 4 bar fpr, piperx panel filter. Would i be wise investing in a sports cat?

Hi Will,

What does a stage 2 revo remap involve?

I was told that re-mapping the 210 version also comes out around the 260 mark, is this right? Being that there is a 15bhp differece from factory.

yeah Both the 210 and 225 versions come out the same after a MAP, although 265 from a map is "optamistic" at best.

Also been a few discussions on here recently ref: Sports Catts, PPl have tested stock against DE-catt with out a noticeable difference, doesnt make the £500 odd it costs for 2 high flow sports catts worth it...

I have exhaust, catts, induction and a Hybrid Turbo and im still shy of 300... with a 3" DP and FMIC its possible though.

I had mine remapped at Avon tuning just outside of Bristol last week mines the 210BHP and after the map its running 265BHP and pulls like an animal.

Bill's Badger sense is tingling...
