Attended a rolling road meet at Torque of the Devil in Uxbridge this morning

Wasn't too impressed with my 2.0tdi (170) only managing 156.4bhp on the rollers

Anything i can do to get this up a bit? Would just a good service get it back to pretty much standard figures?

The guy at TOTD said that auto's never give an accurate reading anyway as you can't keep it in the required gear, but still said it shouldn't be lacking that much power from a 2007 with only 26k on the clock.

Any ideas?

Remap and DPF delete will be coming soon btw :hubbahubba:

Auto`s are a bitch to RR correctly and take some time to set up properly which will never happen on a RR day. I doubt your car is under powered just the RR gave you an inaccurate result.

what you mean by DSG software? remap it or is there an update?

Remap/Software, it ups the torque limit, makes manual mode "FULLY" manual, so doesn't up change and just better to drive with so I've been told, I will be getting it done!

how much is this N8 and where in the north east can i get it done?

Hay Chris

Is this you DSG boy's wishing you had bought a proper gear box mate? he he

Gaz

Well for me it's the only gearbox I'm allowed to drive after being restricted to an auto license by the dvla because I paralysed my left arm in a mountain bike crash....

If you have DSG in manual mode then it shoudnt effect the RR results

Mayb e the 3.2 is different ? On the rollers he ran mine up to 6krpm and just let it roll out. It didnt change gear.??

The RR results only show from 2k up to 6.5k and back to 2k. On the road 2k is 50mph so i doubt it would change but what do i know ? i have only run bikes on a RR before and never an auto car :faint:

You need the DSG software, I might get it on mine tbh! Coilys fitted?

Ye i need to look into this, and no, not yet

Hope it's just that

DSG in manual still changes for you if you hit like 5krpm

This is the problem with the RR days
It has to be set up correctly, the figures are pretty meaningless unless they are a before and after comparison. which is the whole idea.
My DSG will rev to the red line at 6k and then run out. it will 0nly change if its in the red ie 6.5k
the best a RR day will do is **** you off or get you to go back for a proper run...which is what they want :)

i also thought that was true keith, im going for a power run on mine on the 29th of march on my day off and the guy im using said he can roll dgs's no problem at all so im guessin the holds the lever lol

and gaz m no i love my dsg lol
