As the title says can I swap the headlights I currently have (2004 Xenon headlights fitted OEM) to 2006+ Bi-Xenons? Do I need to change the control module or anything or is it a simple change of coding with VCDS.

TIA
Joe

You will need to swap your plugs to 14 pin & rewire also, not a simple coding change, I did it properly with the plugs & repair wires as fedup with crap adapters & adds more clutter to your car.

Ive got a 2004 Sport with standard lights, will 2007 Oem Xenons plug straight in if anyone knows?

What's the rough price of the wires and plugs? So it's just a re-wire and thats it?

Cheers,
Joe

I guess you have to add the extra wires to the car, where do they go?

for the adapting looms check out kufatec, i dont have pinouts here to give you more info about the wires though i can tell you nhn is your man when it comes to this

Was that to my question? i thought they were a straight swap s3 headlights to a sport :(

You said is it a straight swap, I said no mate, different plugs exactly as per my reply to Joe originally, however I do know all about the mod.

i belive tthe bi xenons turn to bend round corners as you drive round em

No Bi-Xenons have high and low beam Xenon where as Xenon is low beam xenon only with high beam halogen.

One word mate, Elsawin.

Annoying, I have it but it's not working the person I bought it from on eBay isnt that helpful either, it has no option in the language box just some squares instead of letters.

Need to get it sorted. Apart from the wiring loom change is there any module or sensor change?
