Well I got to install my rims at the weekend!
The wheels look great and arn't as heavy as I thought they were going to be.
They are 19x8 with an ET44 running 225x35x19 Yoko's.
They fill the arches great and i've not geard anything rub yet.... See what you think.
I'll try and get some nice pics over the weekend.

Nice, we like. Certainly much better than any OEM wheel that has ever been bolted to an 8P variant S3.

I think your car looks AMAZING! Excellent choice of wheel, look well against the colour. I'm sick with envy.....:respekt:

Great pics DeckedS3!! I think if you run on 225/35/19, you shouldn't get any rubbing as some of the forummers here would attest to.
I was previously on 235/35/19 and they rub on load.

I really really like the BBS CK's. Can't justify paying loads of money to change rims though.

Your car looks stunning with the CK's, IMO they are one of the best looking wheels BBS has made and they definitely look like they belong on our cars

The car looks fantastic mate. Good choice!

Looks amazing mate, definately one of the best design of wheels and one of the best coloured cars IMO:icon_thumright:

they look the biz ,,,,,,,,,, i am seriously thinking about new wheels for the summer.......

Looks crazy good man... tha bomb...

Very nice. Loving the meteor too.

They look lovely! Where did you get them from?

I was going to stick with the OEM alloys but I think you have just changed my mind!

Very tidy Decked! My CK's arrive tomorrow, new S3 on Monday 1st. Different colour combo, but Ck's were the way to go, looks the sh!t!!

Very, very nice. I know CK's are not new on the scene but everytime you see them they just look stunning.

Nice one Decked, that looks awesome, wouldn't mind some myself, but can't be seen to be copying!

Just an off-topic question, but what wax do you use on your car, the metallic flake looks a lot more prominent than it does on my car?

is it lowered on springs or coilovers ?

Coilovers (PSS10's)

I use Dodo Purple Haze and Red mist topup. Actually really easy to apply and buff off manually.... The paint comes up great with a nice gloss.

How do you find the ride using PSS10's ? Is that with standard springs ? ( new to this game so sorry if i am asking daft questions ), What sort of price would you be looking at to change ?
I will be fitting the same CK's in Anthracite when i get my car with exact same dimensions as your wheels and tyres, and so am looking at the options to prevent rubbing.

Love the look of your car by the way, beautiful

Thanks, They are full adjustable coilovers, so shocks and springs. They are about £1500 IIRC (that may of been fitted), but IMO well worth it. Really easy to adjust too, about 2 mins to adjust the whole car.

stunning mate, i've wanted some for my A4 for ages and just can't afford them

Cheers for the info
Just wonder what is the ride height compared to just fitting H&R springs to standard shocks ? Keen to know as you mention you don't have any rubbing issues.
Also with the settings you can choose does the ride go from softer than standard thru to real hard for track day type use ?
