Ok, after your opinions. I've finally settled on 2 choices for wheels and have 2 irons in the fire. Question is I just cant decide so wondered what you lot thought.

Either genuine 18" S4 Avus in great condition, tyres have a couple of mil for £350 delivered

OR

19" New style RS4 reps that need a refurb but good tyres £300

I have to say I'm leaning towards genuine but not sure if the Avus are a bit old fashioned? Anyone got any pics they can post to sway me one way or another?!

Personaly i would stick to genuine, plus you are going to pay £200+ to have the rs4's refurbed, which kind of makes reps alot of money???

I can get em done for £20 per corner as I know someone so not that steep

Wheel's are alway's a tuffy with some 18" wheel's they sometime's look to small. And some 19" look to big a 18" wheel like a genuine s-line look's nice and alot of folk's stick with them
but on the same side of the coin when a b6 has been lowered 19" multi spoke wheels look the part. I have had 18 and 19" and would alway's stick with 19's now.

If it was me in your Choice id go for the Rs4's anyday - Ive never been that keen on the S4 Avus to be honest,Just dont do it for me!

19's mate :) biggest is alway best lol

never been a fan of the avus wheels and even with a refurb thats makes them a cheap set

Oem over reps anyday, it's a bonus they're Avus which is the best looking B6 wheels.

The previous two posters are wrong

OEM or Reps, doesnt make any odds to me, Id go for style of alloy before OEM especially between the 2 in question!

BBS LM's look the nut's all day long..

But be fair most reps are **** quality from unknown origin , it doesnt have to be Oem but it does have to be quality wheels , well it does for me anyway.

Yes thats very true, I wouldnt go for a ****** copy rep but most reps these days are crap quality like you say. Still some decent companies out there though. Only problem is that most reps these days come weighing in quite heavy, well thats what ive found in the past anyway!

I'd pick OEM rims over reps and day, however I really don't like Avus ones at all....but if you like them then I think they will be your best bet.

OEM will always be first choice for many but they cost an absolute bomb, so some of us have to do with these!!

Guys,

I know some of you are experts with your wheel fitments - so any of you be able to advise if I'd get away with a 19" x 8.5" wheel with 235's on an offset of ET32?

Cheers

An offset of 32 is a little close to the arch,. The tyre's are bang on 235x30x19 ( same as )

Ta mate, I know 35 is the holy grail. They are actually an ET47 wheel with 15mm spacers.

Am I better sacking off the 15mm spacers and going with a 10mm to bring it to a ET37?

hahahaha not yet quattrojames but im hoping they will if i show it alot lol.
no it was more it helped me alot so just passing it on

Dale i'm running 19"x8.5" 45 offset with 15mm spacer's on the rear and 5mm front.

Thats good to know then, so at worst I'm only looking at a pair of spacers for the front.

Cheers CMD

Your car is looking great now NikNak :icon_thumright:

What offset are the Avus's?

I really do like the Avus wheels. If I was to choose over the two you suggested, i'd say Avus (i'm really not keen on RS4 reps as they just look a little odd in my opinion). But my wheel of choice would be some BBS LM reps most likely.

Oh, and Niknak, your car looks great!
