I'll be happy if mine's 250 too, certainly feels like it anyway.
The newest 8L is 7 years old so some of the power has to have been lost over the years,think if we presented a car with 225 bhp and no leaks/wear on the internals of the engine we would end up with what the tuners quote.

Sounds like DV weakened. BEst to get a Forge 007P oin there if not already.

Mine reads 200g which is about 250bhp...Happy with that. Though i'm not sure how they get the so called 260-265 the map companies advertise?

yes uprated dv does sound like the way forward. Also drove it today and found i was getting no kick off the turbo, then when i used it again, it felt fine. Not sure on the exact workings of these, but could be N75? hopefully it was a temporary glitch
 
hmm, perhaps not temporary, its happened a couple more times now, and the exhaust manifold is getting seriously hot and glowing. surely a faulty diverter valve cant cause this.

when it does it, it sounds like the pressure is going somewhere else other than into the engine.
