What exactly is the limit of the standard AGU maf Nick?
I saw 188g/s peak reading the other day on mine.....
The peak amount in the mapping 673.38kg/h or 187.05 g/s at 4.88v but this can be corrected in the mapping to give a slightly hight reading due to altitude, temps ect.

240 bhp, def not hitting maf limit, Pretty much standard apart from chip, just had a new maf, car seems to have fueling problems around idle, could this be map related as prob seems to have come by since? thought about pressure testing for vac leaks but it seems to hold boost well enough

You need to get your car plugged in to vagcom to see if there is a related fault code. If its only on idle then you will have a APP code which is not major, just means you chould have an air leak, or dirty throttle body. If you have a MUL code then the rich running is across the band under load.
The leak could be PCV related?

i also heard that on audis if you have lexus lights you get an extrra 5% extra power?

Sorry to Hijack, but Nick, how much would I be looking at for a remap of mine, its currently running a revo chip whixh i assume is a stg 1, i've got a forge front mount, forge recirc, wiseco pistons, hybrid K04 and Milltec cat back exhaust - what can you recommend and where abouts are you
i am getting a k03s fitted and tuned i have a revo stage 1 at the mo on standard k03, the revo dealer want 260 plus vat for fitting turbo and tunning, just the tweak to the stage one is about 70 quid if you want stage 2 i think its an extra 100 plus vat
Dude, Revo don't do a stage 2 map for a AGU (due it being cable throttle driven and having no MAP sensor....)
I'd seriously check that out before going mad - make sure they know it is an AGU!

AMD won't upgrade mine for that price because they said i'm not the original purchaser (it was on the car when i got it) they want to charge me full price, needless to say i won't be going to them

dude, if that's your engine in the pic in your sig, it's an AGU, not an AUM, so you'll be out of luck with the revo mapping.

Is it on the block or on the head?
May of had a replacement cylinder head in its time. The only issue being that if it is an AGU engine with AGU management, and an AUM head, then it must be well confused! AGU head is big port, and the AUM isn't.... Small port head will produce more turbo pressure...

Hmmmmm. So it's an AUM head. Well, other than that, the block is the same, so I guess it is an AUM basically on AGU software (with an AGU TB)! I guess they're close enough, same basic idea, and as long as it works, who cares!!
You have a hybrid engine too. Mine is an AGU block with an APY head. Making it an APU. lol

Nope but I stopped someone who had the other day (he actually thought it was OK to take one out and drive at night).
Needless to say a quick chat about the basics of car tuning and he was sent on his way educated!. He actually claimed that it gave him 20bhp more due to the air 'rushing in' to his engine bay...... I couldnt give him a ticket...felt too sorry for the poor deluded fool!.
