Rear Struts....

Hey,

The rear shocks on my Avant are leaking, so i have sourced a spare pair of struts (second hand).

Now, i know the Avant and Saloon have the same setup, but mine is a Sport, so different shocks + springs. Thats fine, i've found some Sport replacements.

now the question is, is there a difference between pre facelift and facelift Sport suspension setups?

yes.

The rear top mounts are different, and the rear shock part numbers are different. Unfortunately i've never seen a pair side by side, so i'm not sure exactly what the difference is, ie is it simply down to the valving, or is there an actual mechanical difference.

edit - found it, '98.
