S3 rear bumper insert.

Hi all.
Just picked my car up from audi after having the roof rails repaired.
But for some reason the rear bumper inserts poking out a bit at the top now?.
Any idea if it just pops back in?
As i dont fancy taking more time off work for them to do it for me.

Why not, that's all audi with do if you took it back n they'd probably charge you £50 lol

sorry for hijack - but how do you remove this bit?
mine is a bit tatty and i've wrapped one in carbon fibre film that im gonna fit....

Just take a look at the clips on the one that you are gonna fit. take a look up behind the rear bumper. between haveing a look up and comparing with the replacement it should be pretty clear how to remove it. I have my replacement sitting in the shed after someone put a towing eye through mine. w**ker.

I dont have a replacement to look at..
I tapped gently...but wouldnt go back in.

The must have had it off when they sprayed the rear bumper... hmmm

Callum, pretty sure it just needs a firm "thump" to get it back in, being an Audi it will be a snug fit hence needing a firm shock thump rather than just a push.

Had a closer inspection earlier, nearly every clip has broken.
********!!!
So either glue or buy new hmmmm.
£56 trade, £65 retail.

Phoned the bodyshop today, to tell them about the broken clips and see if they would do anything.
"apparently" the clips were broken when it went in, and they have photo's to prove it.

But to see the clips/ to take photos of them you have to remove the insert???

Most unhelpful.

Dont suppose anyone has an unwanted rear bumper panel lying around?
