matte silver/satin silver grill surround

hey guys just wondering if anyone has sprayed their grill surround matte silver or satin silver like on the rs4 instead of the chrome or the black optics one? im thinking of doing it to mine so i just want to know if anybody has got any pictures with one on! also been reading up on how to remove the grill from the front bumper. mine is the 2006 big grill model and it seems as though some people have been able to take the grill off without taking the front bumper off! is this possible?!

Often thought about this myself so would be interested to see your results.

I do remember a thread, a while ago now, about how someone had removed the frame from the grille but cannot remember if they had to take the grille off the car first. I suspect they did.

yeah i did it, its definately a grille out job

no just swapped a damaged frame out!
