as title, if it DID NOT HAVE THE STUPID RS part of it, would you buy it for your sport?

If I were into badges and if it didn't have the RS part, then yeah, I think I would consider buying this for my Sport.

Why you ask?

coz im getting some custom made for myself without the RS part. if there any good i mite get some more in for you lot.

A couple years ago i looked for them and couldnt find them. I wanted an S4 badge, but without the S4 lettering, basically a bigger version of the badge thats in the steering wheel.

I suspect if you keep it simple, ie S4 style without the lettering, then you should be able to find buyers for them.

In the badge pictured above the Blue stripe is an RS2 feature, and i dont like the "audi sport" writing underneath.

Phew... not just me then... I didn't like the Audi Sport writing at the bottom either.

cool, i wasnt sure about it either tbh but come to the conclusion without the sport bit i would look like im trying to badge it up with a old skool S3 badge. The custom one will be comming without the blue also.

keep the comments comming.

Look much better without all of the text on it IMO.. not sure if all of the different fonts work very well together.

The oldskool S3/S4 badge was the exact look i wanted, but without the S4 writing, because that would just be wrong!

As you say though, from a distance its going to look the same as a normal S3/4 badge, which is exactly what i'd been trying to avoid by getting one without S4 on it.

Wouldnt like my number plate surronds then....

im not into badges full stop might just be me but i think it ruins the car i also like things to be symetrical

I like them - I have similar but in sticker format - and its not got any of the writing (which I dont like)...

Mine were from ebay.

not into badges. I am much more amused by badges that show "1.4" or "tdi" when you are packing something much meatier under the bonnet!

I had a badge "phase" before I got fed up and completely removed all of them. I bought an old school S4 boot badge, and chopped off the silver bits with the S4 writing on them. Then sanded the chopped surface down so it looked 100%. Didn't look too bad! I've still got it in my parts bag if anyone wants it?

Byanz, He's having my old S4 badge, I'm not buying one. Stop stirring the pot. You, as a moderator, should know better.

I do know better, i was having a laugh..............

As it happens the OP is a good mate and would have appreciated the humour, sorry to have offended you on someone elses post My bad

not a chance. ive never understood badging/stickering up cars and id definitely not put that on my s4

sorry i should of been more specific, I ment it be for "sports" only. As we are the only turbo`d Audi without a Badge. If we can have a little badge on the steering wheel why cant we have one on the grill for example to show were not a pony n/a 1.8.

No problem Byanz. Hope that now you understand, that an individuals humour differs greatly from one person to the next........
