Wheel spacers... Gauging interest

10mm Front and 15mm Rear for me but like everyone else, this is dependant on price.

Why are people just stopping at 10mm and 15mm? S3Hoggy has got 13mm and 20mm and his car looks the mutts. He has also confirmed that he hasn't got any stone chips as a result and the arches are propperly filled. :)

I too was just going with what seems the popular choice, but if 13 and 20 is possible then i'll go for those, i suppose it depends on which is the majority winner really

I had some 20mm spacers on the rear of mine, but because I'd lowered it and not had adjustable tie-bars, the camber was greatly exaggerated and one of them cracked around the hub-centric bit. I took them off when I fitted the tie-bars and haven't got around to having them fixed.

Ive got 20mm wheel spacers all round with 35mm lowering springs and it looks the nuts and havent had any rubbing what so ever, even cornering hard with 5 people in the car.

Lemon have you got any pics? 20mm up front. Must look a bit too much I'd have thought!

Didn't have any so went outside n took some, not very good as it's dark

Because vehicles are designed to have the bearing in the center of the wheel, by offsetting the wheel out 20mm it may look pretty but it will **** the bearing in time and i cant see you all having the gear to renew S3 rears? Max i'd go is 15, but then i have the eqpt to fit new. Any ideas on prices yet?

what equipment are you talking about.... the press to push the bearings out.....

No. the hydraulic puller to pull the bearings out, ****** removing the rear arm to put it on a press.

I would deffo be interested but would require some adv on how much I could space my wheels out (without the risk of catching the arches) car has 19" wheels with 235-35-19 tyres, cars not been lowered.

Thanks

I did both my rear bearings this way...what a pig of a job.

me four..... im sure i can pay someone 2 hours labour to do the job for me :)

ye i would like 10mm front and 15mm rear. but like everyone else if the price is right ;)

any word on these Paul..... just im seriously considering the PW motorsport £100 all in option :)

i just got some black anodised 15mm hubcentric spacers for £35 and 10 longer bolts for £14.95. helps to look around

oh your a cheeky sort aren't ya :)

well yeah, my lunch is between 12 and 2 and its easier to post than search the web waiting for these big websites to load up all their impressive graphics..... plus the only website i cant access @ work is ebay :( - and so I use you lot as my purchasing tools - hows that make you feel? :p

I need some spacers bad, my lm reps are hiding under the arches :(

where the hell do you buy longer locking nuts..... and what size are they as standard? research looks like the PW ones are the cheapest anodised around with bolts included..... just need to factor in some locking nuts to see overall price....
