What wheels are people rockin on their 8L pics please? I'm after ideas

Black wheels on a black car don't look right to me. My opinion, if you like the look, go for it bud, it's quite hard to pull off, have you done anything else to the car?

yeah, well i have a kind of anthracite coloured 17" tt 225 wheels on it at the moment, lowered on coilovers. however i dont think they look that good. also other engine mods etc. got an s3 front bumper being painted too to go on.

The only thing with black wheels is they tend to look a little smaller, if it's the team dynamics i'm thinking of they won't won't look much bigger than the 17" you have.

Put a pic up of what you have bud The S3 bumper will make it look alot nicer!

A bit off topic. Does anyone know whether Audi made genuine 17 RS4 wheels with PCD 100 which would fit a 2001 A3 Sport? I've seen them fitted to 2003 A3's but wonder whether these are PCD 100 or 112?

when you are thinking about new rims, think also about how your brakes will look behind them.

Can I suggest you dont go for big 19" open style rims, which may show off how your puny little brakes look. if you want those style of rims it may well be worth considering a big brake kit to complement them, or go for an 18" rim with a bit more spoke so the brakes (or lack of) arent so obvious.

ive seen little hyundais trundling around with big wheels and tiny little drums on the back, so small, you cant even see them
