Anyone know this red S3?

cant be bad for 6.5k, under 100,000 miles and if the description is accurate, it has an upgraded haldex controller

looks spot on mate, cheap aswell and has a nice plate on it!

Looks like a very good example, but £6.5K !!!, independent trade sale price for a cash sale is nearer £5.5k

plus whatever the plate is worth....no idea there.

if, if it has an upgraded haldex controller, that would be worth £5-700

you can knock £500 off that price straight away through barttering

Im from Edinburgh and iv not seen it around its a pre facelift but looks really clean!!!

its worth whatever someone will pay for it,these guides are piffle

stupidly over priced, and not overly special I'd say.

I'd put huge money on it not being permanent 4wd with a haldex controller, but far more likely to be another clueless dealer that's full of sales bull. every 3rd or 4th S3 out there is sold as 'permanent 4wd quattro system' by goons who don't know better.

6.5k for a preface car with what looks like fairly worn cracked leather sounds like a bad deal to me.

So you reckon I can get a lot better for 6.5k Prawn?

Pre-facelift but has facelift rear lights too. Has an armrest! lol

Looks like mine but mines on 107k and its in better condition imo.

I'd be putting mine up for just over 5k if I was selling it.

This is my good mate's garage. I am not going to shamelessly plug it, but I have driven the car and it is in really good nick.

I have had the arguement with him re Haldex (it does not have the controller) but he maintains that 4wd is 4wd!

Did you turn up at his place in 'your' S3 when you was talking to him about the Haldex 4WD?

Nah, it was down the pub! I am going to get him to change it though, because it is misleading. This is his first S3, he usually specialises in Hondas and BMWs...
