Hi all, i am considering a change of wheels to the 18" rs6 style, are any of you using replica ones if so can you recommend a seller, or do i wait for a genuine set to come up, all the ones you see in the usual auction sites seem to have been owned by people who have no care for their vehicles at all, i understand that you may catch a curb but don't really want to have all refurbed, also what size tyres should be on them to keep the spedo, abs ect all correct i am currently running 17's on 235/45 17's,

Also what size are the originals i.e. width, offset

Thanks in advance
Matt

Hi Matt

Worth hanging out for some genuines in my opinion, they aren't that unusual so some will turn up. Replica's can be ok, but some can be more trouble than they're worth, and it's just knowing which ones!

You want 18 x 8.0J with an ET of 43 to keep to factory, and on an A4 if you run 235/40 tyres you will keep your rolling radius virtually the same. THESE are the only complete set on there right now, and the tyres are right really, also try a search using RONAL who make the OEM wheels.

Oh and you do need to tell me how to do the links like that!!

A decent set tends to go for about £300, which should include at least a couple of good tyres, bide your time and they will come ;)
