Hi all.
I've been thinking about getting a new exhaust and think i like the look of the quad look. Has any one else got one? if so, what you make of them? or what do people think about them?
I prob only like the look and not the sound cause don't want anything to load.
Any suggestion?
Johnny

get searchin doood, was discussed last week and links posted to german ebay

OK it was a bad idea, it was only a thought and we all have bad idea from time to time. :sorry:

Lol no harm in asking? Were you thinking along the lines of faz's biturbo s3 style quads? I think that looks alright. Others may think differently im sure. I guess you just have to have a little look around to see what kind you like. If you got any pics or ideas post them and we'll give a response!

Gops

Can't get a pic just yet but what i was thinking was just match the other side nothing to big. I think it would look ok. Abit M5ish (or maybe not).

Quad exhaust....why not? If you like it, go for it.....who said its a bad idea???

LOL..your car do whatever you feel looks good mate! Quad exhaust......Looks awesome in my opinion ;)

I like it too! the S6 quads look super! go for it mate! If you do it, make sure you post some pics! Have you sold your car yet faz?

Just think what you think when you see a focus with an exhaust either side lol, nuff said

Personally I think that it is hit or miss. the ones on Faz's old S3 looked good however they were fitted for functional not just aesthetic reasons. I think that the rear of the S3 is low and wide enough to get away with it if it is well done.
Having said that, I wouldn't have it on mine.

I also think the standard exhaust would look better as a centre exit on the S3.

That car is the bee's waxxxx :hubbahubba: I guess faz didn't need an extra kidney :crying:

I dont like those quads, just doesnt seem right on that car. Maybe if he cut the bumper? Just looks like a cheap job if you get my drift?

I agree, it would look better if he had it designed into the bumper rather than just stuck underneath.

Yep, looks like a complete afterthought really. 'What can I do now? I know, I'll bosch a quad exit system on it....'

Stilll thinking about a Quad exhaust?

Theres a Yellow Quattro on Ebay with a Quad..

Have a look..

If im honest..

The car doesnt get me going at all, nor does the wheels, exhaust or "S3 bumpers fitted"
Sorry if this is someones car..

I jsut think the quads dont do it for me..

Would like to drive it at 340bhp tho..

Don't like that, not good. If i'm doing it im doing it right and spend money on getting to look good unlike some, think your right Ryan looks abit rushed.

Cheers for that Ritchie, I can see me with a set up like that... although i feel it would look far better with a bit more distance between the tail pipes... and a diffuser between them lol

Here is mine its not a quad, just 2 x oval but may give you an idea, its not the best pic to show, the bumper has been cut very neatly and looks factory finish.
It is made by supersprint.
