Fault Code.. Anybody had this before?

Hello everyone, plugged VAG-Com in today for first time on my car..

I had this warning..

Address 01 : Engine
1 Fault Found:
00561 - Micture Adaption
14-10 Adaption Limit (add) Exceeded - Intermittent
Rediness N/A
..........................................................................

I did a bit of research and got this info.
Anybody had this error before,

Does it mean its over or under fueling?
My car is rather modified, with new turbo, remap, exhaust, decat, hoses etc, and sometimes on the motorway when i accelerate it doesnt seem to grunt as much.
Anyone think thats this error?

00561 - Mixture Adaptation: Adaptation Limit (Add) Exceeded

Possible Symptoms

• Engine Jolting
• Increased Fuel Consumption
• Poor Idling/Jolting
• Reduced Boost Pressure

Possible Causes

• Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) faulty
• Fuel Pressure too Low
• Leaks in Intake Air System and/or Exhaust System
• Injector(s) faulty (i.e. coked)

Possible Solutions

• Refuel Vehicle
• Check Fuel System Pressure
• Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
• Check Intake Air System and Exhaust System for Leaks
• Check Injection Quantity
• Check Injector(s)

How can I check the fuel pressure system or the MAF?
or even the injection quantity?

you can check the maf easy enough, disconnect it and go for a drive, it it drives better your maf is screwed

i have no idea about how to check the fuelling side of things, someone will be able to tell you though

in that case the Maf is fine, however some mornings the idle does bounce, which i thought was the maff?

When the mafs disconnected my car is almost back to standard that tiny little 150bhp i used to have..

Ouch.. my car used to be slowww

You might want to have a look at the fuel pump too?

With the engine warm and idling, check what block 032 says... they will be the fuel trim values...

These should be more or less 0.0% for both...

When in the engine control module (01), go to measuring blocks (08), enter 032 in the first group box and click go...

I cannot run anything past 025, as im not registerered, and got very annoyed.. hahaha..

SO i give up...

Has anyone got Vagcom in the Bristol Area / North Somerset that could offer me a hand...
