S3 wrote off Nuneaton A444

A work colleague was driving home on Monday 28th December on the A444 going to Nuneaton,he was driving at 70 mph on the dual carriageway and a Fiat Grande pulled out and he hit it....leave it to the Police to decide who was at fault.
But a White Mitsibushi Evo 6 went past inbetween his car hitting the central and roadside barriers so if anyone knows anyone with one near this could they please ask if they saw anything.
The car had its roof removed and is a write-off also the insurance are arguing that his RS4 alloys weren't fitted to S3's and this is a modification so trying to wangle out of paying up so any advice please on that as well.
Sorry no pics as he had to be cut out,but hes fine.

Oh no!?!? I live near there, in coventry but my mrs lives in bedworth, abit closer. I'll ask her if she knows a guy with a white evo 6. I think i know which evo it is, but finding it is abit of a problem as i dont know him. Im back in coventry this weekend so i shall do some enquiries to find him? Hope the guy is ok. Where abouts on the a444? Near george elliot hospital?

i think the insurance company could get out of a payout if he never declared them, technically they are a modification but they would have to be absolute tossers to do so

if i were him i would play dumb, say that they came on the car when purchased and as far as he was concerned were standard, afterall its not as if they are aftermarket rims, just another type of audi wheel

Your not wrong. Yesterday I had an oncoming van pull across my path into a junction and I had to slam the brakes on from 60. Came to a complete stop about 6ft from him but him and his passenger were chatting away merily and didnt even notice. I was slightly angry and if I wasnt running a little late for work I would have followed him.

Rav hes from Treacle Town but works at the same place as me in Coventry,he was okay no cuts or bruises and I think it was where the roundabout for the M6 and the turning for Bedworth and the A444 goes from three lanes to two.
He had an ST before but said he always wanted an S3 and he used to park beside mine as his was standard I used to laugh,but when he was being cut out a woman said he had been racing and that made him furious as he wasn't and doesn't.He also was getting it remapped at the end of January....he said he'll get another as long as the insurance don't try to fidddle him.

Yes but mud sticks,I said to him if your license was on the line and you hired a barrister then maybe they could get her on a road and test her speed guessing then.

I've asked my girlfriend and her sister says she see's a white evo 6 every other day on that road. What time was the incident? If so she may know where he is to ask him?

I think he may of remembered the incident as he passed inbetween the S3 hitting one barrier and going toward the other
