Hi guys,
Cant find my owners manual at the moment. Does anyone know the capacity for the following fluids in a 2004 A3 2.0TDI sport?

Engine Oil
Coolant
Brake fluid
Power steering fluid

Im planning to bleed/flush all four and replace with new fluid.

Thanks

Tom.

According to the owners hand book, engine capacity is approx 3.8 litres for oil and filter change.
Brake fluid should be around 1.25 litres (workshops manual suggest you bleed off 250ml for each brake caliper and clutch slave cylinder).
No fluid is required for steering, as it is electric assisted.
Unable to find capacity for coolant, but I would put at least 2 litres of G12+ mixed with water until the correct level is reached.

Hope that helps,
Scott.

ScottTDI, thanks a million for looking that up. Didnt think i was going to get a reply to a boring question!. Very much appreciated!

Been snooping around the radiator and cant seem to see any sort of radiator cap or bleed valve on the bottom for draining coolant out. Any ideas if there is one there? Or do you simply have to remove the lower pipe and drain from that?

What about the 2 black valves i see on the way down to the radiator from the coolant reservoir, should they be opened at anytime during a coolant change?

Dumb questions i know, but bear with me!:slapped:
