Well from looking in the engine bay, loads!

How on Earth do I get to the front lightbulbs?! There is no space at all in the engine bay! My drivers side indicator has gone this afternoon and I took a quick look, frowned a little then decided to consult my user manual. After looking for the right page it basically said "don't be a fool! Only a trained Audi specialist could possibly do it because we have left ****** all space for even a child's hand to remove a bulb!!"

So... how do I do it?

I have a 1.9TDI (if that makes any difference for the things I need to remove!)

If i remember right when i did mine all i did was loosen some star shaped screws on the back edge of the headlight and it came free and hey presto 5min job, ill have a check in the morning when its light and make sure what ive put is right

Have you tried to 'search' for this???

Do a search on 'Removing Headlights' and you will find all the information you need.

There are four torx screws which old the light in place, on the O/S one you might need to remove the air flow pipe. Remove the top two screws. The bottom two are a bit fiddly and you will probably need a screwdriver just LOOSEN these, DO NOT remove them. The light should then slide out. Depending on the length of the loom you might need to unplug it from the back of the light. Usually the hardest part IMO.

Change the bulbs and replace the lights, you may need to adjust the alignment. It's easier to do this than try and do it in situ.

I did do a quick search but didn't see anything particularly obvious. Cheers for the info anyway - I will give it a go tomorrow evening...
