Hi, I'm look for a value for my car that was damaged in a accident before Christmas (not my fault)

it was:

S3 1999 V reg 82,000 miles black leather heated recaros, sunroof, FSH, Bose .

Had:

H&R springs and B8 dampers
Forge Tie bars
Porsche front Calipers and R32 rotors
Revo stage one map
Forge FMIC
R32 anti roll bars
Front strut brace
OEM Audi rs4 wheels
Facelift front lights
Smoked rear lights

I need to get a price to start negotiations for it

Cheers:icon_thumright:

Am I right in thinking that if it was not your fault then it doesn't matter is your mods were declared to your insurance company or not and you will still get their worth back?
At a guess I would say you could see around 6k for your car. But remember that if your not happy with what they offer you then argue to get more.

well originally the garage told me it would be a write off but the insurance assessor has said it should be fixed. I mentioned to the garage owner that i wasn't really bothered about keeping it and he said he would buy it off me and we could do a deal with me maybe keeping some parts like brakes and intercooler to sell on. So Ive got to choose to either have it repaired, sell it as is or sell it at a reduced price and keep some parts.

Just trying to work out which options going to recoup the most cash for me

This could be locked/removed but see how it slides.
how can anyone give a valuation when the damage isn't known ?

locked?? Im not selling anything :readit:

"how can anyone give a valuation when the damage isn't known ?"

I want a valuation of what it would be worth undamaged because thats what i need to get for it or i would better of getting it fixed and selling it.... no?

Unless you have an agreed value with your current insurer, then most likely they will give you the value of the car as if it were standard, so expect to be offered peanuts.... £5k wouldn't be far off at a guess, but I would refuse the first off and ask for more. Those parts you have fitted will fetch you some good money also, if not damaged, so I would try and get your car back.

Thats the things, all the insurers will do is pay for the repair any deal to sell it would be with the garage only.
