Does anyone know the part number or other models that i can use the door latch off for my s3.

The passenger door is getting worse, froze open again today, its doing my tits in.

Yeah mate, will open then the handle goes slack and the mechanism stays open inside the door so when you close it it doesnt hold shut. takes some warming up, slamming and alot of swearing before itll engage haha.

Tried a bit of WD40 to lube it up a bit?

This happened to my drivers door the other day, I since sprayed it with a bit off WD40 and not issues since, its not so much a fault with your mech just the fact theres moisture in there freezing, WD should help.

Slamming the door wont help either, if it happens again try to free the mech by using a screw driver

Thats the thing, the latch that connects to the frame of the car moves, itas the mechanism inside the door, its hard to explain.

I know what you mean, it pushes down inside the latch, its should spring back up when you close the door locking the latch in place, I found mine was stuck down, but after spraying it with wd and using a screw driver to free it its been fine.

Ill try the wd40 trick, if not new latch, its a pin in the ****, especially if no ones in the passenger seat to hold the door haha.

try and do the wd40 trick after the car has been in a garage or warm place. This may also evaporate ( sorry i can not spell ) the moisture so aiding the wd40 to coat the parts that frost up

lmao this happened to me the other day when i was in a rush to work. gave it a spray all seemed ok after that :)
