From white to black, you're not the only one moving away from white

Whats wrong with white?, im changing from phantom to Ibis as i found that phantom was a nightmare for swirls...

Nothing wrong with white I loved it and found it really easy to look after but I have always had a thing for Black cars and now N8 has offerred me such a special rate on detailing things are looking good !!

The novelty never wears off I'm still like a kid at Xmas time and I still won't sleep well until it arrives on the driveway

My perfect spec this time and what I originally ordered when my patience ran out and I took the Ibis from the showroom instead of waiting for a build last year,thankfully the Ibis was well discounted as a 'stock' carso it wasn't too painful a lesson to learn, my Ibis sold within 2 weeks so a popular choice, dealers happy and I'm very content.

Im glad that you liked white, I loved my phantom... It looked so sharp when it was clean and the S3 will look the dogs in Phantom!

Regarding build dates etc, I was told the week before Xmas that the car was built and about to ship, expected arrival was estimated at 21st January and originally I was going to run the TTs until March and then take the S3 but as usual I was impatient and missing my extra doors with this poor weather.

The TTs is a brilliant car and really gorgeous looking but from a driving perspective no better (or worse) than the S3 so at this moment in time the S3 ticks every box for me and my small family.

I got what I consider to be a very good deal although the TTS interim ownership cost me a little more in depreciation than I expected but it's swings and roundabouts, the last S3 was a brilliant ownership prospect and cost me very little in the brief 10 months I owned it. I have always fancied owning a TTs and the fact that we have our second child due early Summer prompted me to do something a little impulsive and go for it, at least I can say I've done it and look back with no regrets.

I am determined to keep the S3 a minimum of 3 years so I can get my moneys worth, heard that before though !!

I was at Statllers last night until 8:30 having the pump and downpipe removed from the TTs, crikey it was cold !! Steve gave the usual excellent service though then I faced a 64 mile drive home in the snow and ice, gotta love quattro.

I'll be back there within a couple of weeks to get the hardware fitted to the new one, be good to meet up and see an Ibis and phantom side by side.
