Stone chips/r8 lights/window tint - West Yorks area....HELP!!

Hi, new to forum and also new to a rather spiffing new ibis white A3 (07).

Got few chip marks that need sorting...anyone got any recommendations in Huddersfield area? And also wanting rear windows tinting, so any input at to tint gradient and anyone recommend someone local to me(any fotos of your own tintings on a white a3 would be muchly appreciated)?

And prob daft question but can ya get R8 replica healdlights for a3 (07)

Don't know about your stonechip issue as i'm the other end of the country, but with regards to the replica R8 headlights, i take it you mean that you want light with the DRL's (daytime running lights) with the LED's?

For your year of car, there aren't any direct replacments, the newer 09 onwards facelift A3's have the DRL LED's in them, but they are a slightly different shape and wont fit directly to your car without some modifications

TBH, i'm not a fan of the fairy lights unless it's on an S5 or an R8

Yep there are aftermarket LED DRL headlamps for you age of car so long as you don't have xenons. Check out Pregnantnprouds thread here particularly post #91:

Do you have xenons or bi-xenons Jax? Bi-Xenons have the built in DRLs and the bulbs for them can be changed to make them look whiter.

Jax, might be worth throwing a couple of pictures up of the car in its current state along with the model and trim level so that people can suggest mods

I second the alloy suggestion if it hasnt already got a nice set, another popular one (particularly on Ibis cars) is the black trim grill surround. Dependant on the body type you may want to update the rear lights to the new sportback LED type or the updated 3 door units which look much better.

Finally someone local.. Hardly any other white A3's around huddersfield! Theres a tint company a mate of mine used called Go Tints located just off leeds road i think.. On my last car I went to a place in bradford. Cant think of any local paint specialists though

I had actually thought about about the black grill, where would i get one?

Nice car! I think a black grill surround would make it look great (al la Black Edition) but this is my own personal view. Tints would be a nice upgrade as the Ibis 3 doors really suit it.
