Happy New Year 2010 as per title whats your plans for your car this year?

In progress: nowt!
Researching: Cupra-R splitter, RS4 Pedals, Vredestein Wintrac Xtremes, Ampire DVB-T400 Freeview recorder, full colour DIS (pipedream).

Realistic timeline for this year....
Jan Cupra R splitter
Feb Vredestein Wintrac Xtremes
Mar RS4 pedals and Ampire Freeview TIVO and AV inputs...

sell my 2003 audi A4 3.0 quattro sport and buy either an A4 1.8T or 2.0 TDI saloon or avant

Boring Stuff:

• Solve starting issues (glowplugs)
• Solve screeching noise from rear hub when cold
• Solve clunk from rear axle when taking up drive
• Remove rear door card and reinstall window switch.

Fun Stuff:

• Replace rear valance and fit twin visible tailpipes.
• Rear RS4 ARB
• 40mm lower
• Joey mod headlights
• Refurb wheels (graphite colour?)

Things to do in 2010

JAN Install Eibach pro kit + Pro damper kit

FEB Cuise Control retrofit, performance remap

APRIL Install Votex B6 Front and rear bumper, Votex B7 side skirts, Votex upper grill, Rear boot spoiler (undecided as to what make) install 4" exhaust tips, respray votex kit + N/S & O/S front wings. Reverse parking aid.

JUNE Refurbish 18" TT Alloys



Oh yeah!!.....

Would like to upgrade seats/interior to leather depending on available funds.

Be sad to sell the B6 1.9 TDI 130 Avant, but on the good side buy a B7 3.0 TDI Avant as woud like to try a quattro and still have reasonable running costs.

Just don't know whether to sell it as it is or strip it back to full standard spec.

Have B5 S4 brkes fitted that have been in my garage for an age.
Possibly new 19" alloys if I can find some I like.

Plans for this yr will be buy a salvage (something decent) and keep on the cheap.
as for the Blue arrow :

Spoiler replacement
FMIC Fitted
Change Alloys
Black the Diffuser on the rear bumper.
Fit armrest
Upgrade to full DIS (...a might be...)

...and if I move house then Springs & Shock upgrade - would like another 20mm lower.(driveway at my current house wont allow me )

For mine? Well, I have the new RS mirror caps in place (photos to follow...) but I'd still quite like the remap (1.9TDi 130 Quattro Sport)

Other than that, I'll give it its yearly pass with the machine polish and keep it clean! Oh, wheels will be coming off soon and calipers/hubs repainted too.

Jimmeh - find an S4 or a newer B7 - much more common option on those... probolem for me is that you can only buy them as part of the whole dash (about £550!) and to match the immobiliser, you CAN'T use a B7 (2.0TDI) or any of the petrol options... it's pretty easy for petrol owners as I think they were standard on S4's, so there's a few in the scrap-yards... I think this is on a B6 cabriolet, but you get the idea:

Here are my plans;

1. Parrot MKI9200 kit (got it, just need cables and installation)
2. HID's (without the brick-like balasts that came with my current set.)
3. Cambelt
4. VCDS maybe?
5. RS4 RARB (if i can be bothered)

Im looking to get some fat bass subs in the boot, theres like 2000w fusion ones in the halfords sale, so gonna go for that.

Then get some 18 or 19 inch rims in chrome to match the mirrors and such

tint the windows

and put a big turbo badge on the back so everyone knows.

Nutkin... I'm also replacing some of the cast iron guttering around my house, I think there's a 4m stretch of 4" going begging, so I reckon you could polish that up and swap out the exhaust too... no boxes, no cat... and with that much girth you'll be able to see the pistons (well... exhaust manifold at least )....

What you on about, 4" tailpipes ! sounds a bit chavy to me.
