what could i do :( live around oxfordshire

cheers guys

If you can get to London, it is good loads and loads to do, but be warned its manic, every where is so packed,

other than that a house party the best thing to do imo on nye, its over rated anyway,

I'm working, so fireworks on TV for me, then kill the prepaid texts to see how long it takes to fire multiple texts in one go 5 mins after midnight.

New years in London is not as bad as it used to be.... crowd-wise.
There are so many clubs/pubs/bars now that it's pretty easy getting into most places as people are spread out across lots of venues.
For quite a few new years we've even ended up in half empty venues, in the heart of London. Although they all eventually fill to a nice capacity.

Outside events.... along the Thames in the west end is the only real option. Fireworks etc around Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, London Eye.
It'll be quite crowded but not too crowded that you can't get there or see anything.

Driving into london is also not that much of a problem, and parking is easily achievable IF you set off in good time and have a decent'ish knowledge of the west end. You'll always find a parking space, just might be a 10 or 20 min walk from where you want to be.

House party FTW. :)

Thats where we're off to, no entry fee, loads of mates and beer and no rip off transport costs to get home. We shall just stagger back around the corner :)

decided to get the bus into london go on the eye then watch the fire works :)

50 quid ish all in not bad at all for 2 people :)

Stay home and start making love at 23.59 and hope to last over the new year so you can say you did it for a year.LOL

So Mark, you're thinking of starting 2010 with a bang hey?? ;) :sex:

I'm gonna have a quiet one at the girlfriends, have some beers and a curry, watch some telly etc.....well I say that now lol...

I spent last year with the gf i had at the time watching fireworks at the london eye, its a good laugh and few bars around that arnt actually that packed surprisingly.

This year however, i have no gf and going to the club matter with a group of mates, to listen to some twisted tech house trance minimal music, playing is, sven vath amoungst other cocoon legend DJ's and cannot WAIT!! Sven Vath is my fav DJ of all time. Love listening to him! Plus the club will be crammed of young sexy ladies which is always a bonus! Plus the public transort will be open all night, so getting home will be easy! I think matter closes at6 or 7, so that will keep be busy for the night!

Hmmm Sven Vath lovely... :)

I think Im off to Skeggy Pleasureland or maybe the Emporium but Im moving house today so prolly end up infront of the telly with a pizza...

With 2.5 yr old and a 5 month old kids....will be staying in and watching the TV....so it will be the same as every other night here :tapedshut:

best thing is a HOUSE PARTY as the prices to go in london on nye would cost you a bomb.well it did when i lived there anyway.(12y ago)
