Hi guys.

Looking into fitting hub centric spacers 20mm on the back and 15mm on the front. Standard ride height, standard wheels. 2001 8L S3.

Would I have many problems with this? I can put up with a bit of srubbage on full lock... but they must ok for normal use.

Yeh as above replies, you'll be fine. I've got 20mm spacers all round with 35mm lowering springs, 225/40/18 wheels. Haven't had a single bit of rubbing, I've had 3 heavy people in the car weighing 100kg each plus me 75kg and gone round corners hard, over quite a bumpy road and still didn't rub.

Where did you get your spacers from? what make are they?

Found a couple pics of when I had the heavy load in my car minus me.
I was so surprised it didn't rub especially going down the bumpy A130 at high speeds, although my exhaust clamps did bottom out once on the ground and grind themselves down a bit.

how did you guys find the steering was effected by the additional scrub radius?

It handles better in my opinion with the wider track.

I don't think I do sorry, atleast not one from the right angle so you can actually see the difference.

with extra scrub radius you should have more reluctance to turn in, hence ive never fitted a set of spacers to a car

only one way to find out though, ill suck it and see
