Standard injectors

hi

anyone know where i can get a full set of injectors for my s3?
ive been qouted £97.58 each from a mate that works at benfield and euro car parts cant get them in and say there a dealer only part?

any ideas as i dont relly wanna blow £400 on injectors evn though i need them as 2 of mine are sh*gged so gonna repace all four to be on the safe side!

Cant put uprated ones in as they will jst constantly overfuel as AMD have informed me!

Any ideas?????

I would try a breakers too... TT (225) and LCR injectors are the same

cheers lads!ive rand euro ar parts give them my reg and chassis number and they say they cant get the injectors for that car!!!!i was like eh how come!!

They just said ' dealer only part' i couls of cried then haha

ill try the leons mate but i dont really wanna ut 2nd hnd ones tbh, would rather be new so i may just have to bite the bullet!!!!

I have just put a set of 550cc ones in mine.. cost me under 300 quid for full set..

and does this mean my s3 was the original 219bhp version and not the 225??

yep your engine code is APY, its a bit odd what is written on that eurocarparts website, it say 1999-2003, which means apy, amk and bam have the same injectors, i'm not sure if this is correct though.

When the dealers are open it would be interesting to see if they have the same part number, if they do then i don't see why the eurocarpart injectors won't work

Your link has a different part number so they must be different bud, so are your actually knackered?

yeh according to a diagnostic report, injector 4 is totally shot and injector 3 is on itsway lol so im gonna change all for to be on the safe side!!the last link i sent is the exact part for my car as i searched via my registration!!

although when i rang the newcastle branch they said they dont do the injector for my engine code but for all others!!!strange i just dont think he could be ***** tbh!!!
