Had enough of your S3 causing you problems?

Fed up of spending a fortune at the stealers on thing that they get a small child to make for 5 pence?

Want to drive a nice cheap run around which just works?

Then this is the post for you....

Simple solution. Take it to the nearest abandoned area and BURN IT! :banghead:

Me and the S3 not best friends today. :(
 
i learnt when i spoke badly about her..

she would turn into more of a bitch .. so show her some love!

i too would also be up for a mass burning, owning an s3 is worse than having a missus, s3 does more moaning and complaining and as random said if you speak nastily about her, even when not around her she some how hears you and ***** you over even more:slapped: haha

only one thing you can do bert, keep on trucking..... :salute:
 
OK.... allow me to explain....

Went out last night for my work's do. I drew the short straw and drove. Now I only work for a small company so my boss fronts up the cash for all of us.

Drove up, and car was having a bit of a misfire (not coils or plugs - suspect batch of fuel - from the same place as I had dogy fuel last time). We went bowling. Had fun. Two trips from the bowling alley to TGI Fridays to transport 6 of us.

First trip - lovely. Second trip I put windows down to have a smoke in traffic at some lights... Go to put windows up and the passenger one wouldn't go up. 100% stuck. Got out and ******** about with it, slammed door, couldn't get to the windows as it was fully down. ****. Drove with other two back to TGIs (freezing cold since it was -2).

Then had to go home - wouldn't leave the car with the window stuck down obviously. Bummer, missed out on my free fat steak. Not happy. Drive home flat out in a rage feeling hungry as had been saving myself all day for free fat steak.

Get home at 10 PM. -3 degrees. Take door card off - pain in the **** having not done it before, in the dark and hands hardly working due to the cold - took an hour. Try window. It immediately goes right up and closes. I believe my words were, and I quote 'You've got to be f*cking sh*tting me!' No problems, no obvious cause of failure. Even less happy.

Grease windows sliders, reassemble. Accidentally break pull out cubby thing. Spend 30 mins fixing that - hypothermic at this point. Getting really pissy.

1 AM I get to bed. Have an argument with the missus about how cold my feet are and how long I'd been outside. Sleep on sofa. Really angry.

Get up this morning, go to work and hear about how good the food was! :(

I've had better days.

I've had days like this because of sodding cars, feel your pain! :sadlike: The only difference would have been I'd have left the b*****d outside open window or not...when there's a free steak involved :yum:

If you're all going to burn out your 8L's can I have one? :whistle2:

I would of done, but it was snowing and the interior was getting drenched! I asked TGIs if they had something I could cover it with (such as a plastic table cloth like they have about a million of).

They said no.:(
 
Lol, try owning a mk2 golf mate, it seems like mines perminently broken!
 
OK, you can be the exception and burn that too..... But just because it's you you understand...

No, it only started working when the card was off. I put it down to the cold to be honest. But I was not happy at the time!
 
Dude, if you want trouble free motoring, get a brand new car (lol in its own right)

For the same money you could get a, err...... hyundai gets -with 7year warranty!!

In all honesty, it does look smashing! I would have to resist rubbing myself against it.

You are probably right, it's such a bad habit. I gave up for 2 years and then decided that stress levels were too high!! Giving up again on the 1st....

Only the ones that I run over.... :(. Plus I've heard that lady garden juice is very difficult to get off of paintwork. Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover won't shift it :(
 
totally gutted mate, maybe if you had found a cause you wouldnt of been quite so ****** off, at least the frostbite would of been worth it!!

smoking in the s3 is a no no though mate, im a smoker and even i stopped smoking in the car when i got the s3, i love it that much :)

still could of been worse dude, i mean you could of been in my shoes on my works do and ge arrested in front of everyone i work with inc my boss for drunk and disorderly, not exactly my finest hour lol
 
Smoking in your car is a crime, using the ash tray is a hangable offence...

Hey, it's my car and I'll smoke in it if I want to!! lol :noway:

However, I have NEVER EVER used the ashtray or lighter. Ever. Nor will I ever. Windows are always fully open on the occasion I do smoke in it.
