Genuine s-line badges alloy?

Hi,

I have been on ebay & bought some S-line badges all claiming to be genuine.

The two rear door ones arrived today made of alloy which I expected but the back one from a different seller is made of plastic!

I've emailed to say that it doesn't look genuine but am I right?

The original badges are plated plastic. The part number is 8N0 853 601 A.


I've no idea what you have that's made of alloy!!

I want to fit the rear door badges soon but would like to know exactly how many inches along do they go on the door strips form the back?

They don't look genuine to me. The OE ones retail for around £16 IIRC

How can you tell?

I thought the side ones are quite good quality to be honest.
The rear one not so sure......

dale, there the ones you need yes, but there not genuine ones, the company selling them only sells copies of stuff, all be it very good.
