thinking about getting some springs or coilovers, have read many reviews on eibach and KW but has anyone used bilstein, b3 springs or b10 or b12 maybe?

Bilstein's can give a very very hard ride too.

Good quality, but just too expensive these days (with crappy exchange rates) IMHO.

Paid £850 for mine, worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY imho . Mikey was in my car on saturday, he has a 2.0TDI on 18" BBS, slammed on weitecs, mine is slammed on V2s on 19"s running a 215/35 on 8.5J, and all he kept goin on about what how comfortable the ride was.

All my friends from back home always say "Nath, doesn't even feel like there are coilovers on here" :readit:

im being also being offered apex springs for my 2.0tdi on 18" RRP on these is 106.99 but am getting a healthy discount, but are the worth riding on? will it be much lower than my audi "sport" suspension? apex say 30mm lowering

They're average quality springs - they'll drop it a bit, but won't transform handling like coilovers will.

I'm with you, I've had coilovers in the past with shocking ride - that means you Avo.... my car drives great on coilovers, it's a better ride than my A4 was on S-Line springs! My coilovers were half the price of yours too.... if you're down in Northampton you're welcome to have a go, you'd be impressed!

S-Line suspension is shocking man, I don't need a test drive in yours Pete, I'm more than happy with what I paid for them and the job they do for me, been on the car for 22k and still going strong

I think Germans get confused and think rock-hard means sporty.

I'm not putting yours down - I agree they're a top quality product, pricing just seems to be creeping up though.

Dont want to sound cheap but what about v-maxx height and damping Adjustable coilovers? Lol just exploring my options
