Post pics of your A3/S3

Havnt had it long and was std when i bought it.
I personally think this is how it should of left the factory... mods include, Remap, 30mm drop, debadging, colour coded grill surround and a leon splitter.
any comments welcome.

Still think i need some facelift headlights, they look sound. The only thing letting these cars down are the wipers, yes i know it sounds pappy but since fitting the full aero wiper's to mine, arms etc, its transformed the look of the car, £30 off ebay :)

I think that looks great mate, what polish you using there i reakon your a fellow detailer. :icon_thumright:
 
Cheers Dan yes I am! I use the G220 Hard polishing kit from polished-bliss followed by dodo's blue velvet then topped off with dodo's red mist gives a great finish,
Dani I know what you mean about the wipers I only Have the Aero twin conversion on the front and looking at maybe getting a polo wiper for the rear,

Have you, though you just had the clip on aero wipers not the arms.

How much did you pay for the polisher? Paibt work looks spot on.

Will have to do it without her indoors knowing, this is supposed to be my cheapo for going to work in :whistle2:

Work at Nissan so got a Qashqai as the family motor and the missus has a 206cc to go to uni (****** students!)
 
yeah sorry thats what I mean the clip on bosh aeros,
I got the kit off polished bliss it was about £210 but I think was well worth it! You can get the G220 on its own for around £140 I think. theres somthing very therapeutic in spending a couple of days cleaning your car (or maybe I'm just strange)

It may be strange to spend that much time just cleaning your car, but the results definitely look worth the effort! Your car looks a much deeper blue than mine... people tend to think my car's purple, but yours looks almost black.

Damn, that Blue is awesome....and thats the same colour as mine....makes my Ming blue look well shabby....thinking the serious polishing head is going to come out over xmas holidays.....ive seen the light of a deeper blue and i want it.....with the chrome mirrors too. the list gets longer. good job our lass doesnt know. haha
 
I got the LCR splitter from the Seat Dealer...£22 iirc. not had chance to fit it yet though. damn these short days. its on the list of xmas holiday jobs.

Hoggy, how the hell did you get the Ming blue that dark?

Basicly mate the glossier the finish the darker it's going to look the products I mentioned above give a great finish and I would definately recomend the dodo stuff best I've used, red mist is great stuff!

I was also thinking of fitting the LCR splitter; the standard bumper looks awful, especially in a light colour (mine's Lake Silver). But I've heard they're a pain to fit correctly. Do you have a guide/is there one on the forum somewhere?

Hoggy, what dampers/springs are you running? Looks lower than standard in the 1st pic.

Just standard Dampers and springs mate but the spacers do help a bit, with regards to the splitter it's a pretty easy job to fit first I offered it up to the bumper to see ruffly what needed doing. Both ends will need cutting a little then a bit of shaping to sit right.the middle of the splitter has two spacing colums (best way to describe them) they need cutting down (a bit trial and error until it looks right), then I drilled and self tapped it to the bumper,

hope this helps, would be easier if you had a hand from a mate to hold it up so you can see what looks right.

yes mate, there 19's....

they are new style RS6's they look so much better in the flesh.
 
heres a few pics of my s3. just installed the front lcr splitter. next on line up some kw dampers and springs. could any one photoshop it so i know what to expect from 30/35 mm drop. ohh and heres a cheeky pic of my weekend car ;)
