Hello. Greetings from Norway.

Wanted to post some pictures of my little "Project".
Start with just copy paste from another forum. Hope that is alright;)
will try to write as good english as I can, but you may find some wrong writing ;)

It is an A4 B8 1,8TFSI

Got it in august 2008, and are very pleased with the car. Good comfort and the engine runs very well I think. thought of buying 2.0tdi, but I'm glad I bought tfsi instead :)

Start with some pictures from when I bought my car:

Some few changes where made to the car during the summer. Put on some 9,5x19" rims with 265-35 tires I found in my garage. This is not the wheels I'm going to use :)
This just for testing the place for rims and going to sell the 18" sline wheels, so I didn't want to use them. God place for tires in the new A4. Rear I can have bigger.

Didn't like to use the car during the winter, so I desided to make a few changes to it :)

Removed the front grill on my car one day. Much work, because the bumper hadd to be removed.

Also took the grill apart, because I where going to have it painted black

Tried something. But it wasn't as successfull as I thought. smoked the rear lights a bit. But I don't think I like the result. So i guess I will but them back to original later [:|]

No, I haven't done anything with the engine yet. Don't know if I will tune it with a chip or someting. But here around where I live they (police) have gotten a dynepack to measure the power in the cars. If you have more than the stock HP in the car you get a ticket that is more than 175USD for every HP to much. And I don't wanna pay a fine/ticket that can be almost 9000USD :(

But I would like to make the enginebay look a litle better. Some CF details if someone start to make that :)

If you got the APR remap then just using the cruise control stalk you could swap from chipped to standard in about 5 secs ;)

Have you got any links to that Scotty, I might be sort of interested

Cheers

Sure. This is the 1.8T page : http://www.goapreu.com/products/ecu_upgrade_18tsi_long.htm

Unfortunately the 2010 ECU remap hasn't been released yet (new security features) but they say it will be by Christmas.

I had APR on my TT and both the actual map and the software were superb. The cruise control stalk gives you the ability to swap programs on the move. You can also lock it into a program with a pin. Additionally you can choose valet mode (limits car to a fixed rpm and no boost) or immobiliser.

I've nothing but praise about my previous experience with them.

Great car, rims are not my type but rest is great, I wanted fron lip but Audi deler told me that with s-line bumper it's inpossible to fit it ;/

Looks very nice. However, I think it looked nicer with the silver/black split rims you had on earlier.

Dave

love the car its really nice and the new wheels are awesome to ...id love it

Wheels are immense, love them, but maybe a nice gun metal colour would be better.

oh my god, i think i'm in love.
Beautiful mate......

Thank you to everyone for the comments :)

The wheels I have on the car now, stays on the car. I like them very much, and no one in Norway got the same wheels as me :) But I agree the rims are a bit love/hat. You eighter love them or hate them. But they look much better in real than in pics.

john herman: Yes, they got that :( So I guess I will stick with original software for now.

gr1zly:
The votex front lip wont fit the sline front bumper I'm afraid :(

NHN:
Been thinking of painting the rims in black or gunmetal betveen the "splits"

Necroscopehttp://www.audi-sport.net/vb/member.php?43454-Necroscope:
I don't know exactly how much I have spent. Haven't calculated together yet. Ant the prices in Norway are quite expensive. But around 47300GBP for the car and 6500 to 6600GBP for the rest i guess. (Norwegian kroner converted to GBP)

Wouldnt go black tbh, need a contrast IMHO, thats why suggested gunmetal.

Nice Like it ..................

What Fog Lights Are they ?????????? There real bright????

Thank you. The foglighs are 6000K Xenon. After these pictures are taken, I have changed them to 3000K for a yellow foglight.

NICE OEM style, just wondering would you tell where did you buy this? (above pic)
Thanks a lot

All of the styling I have on my car I bought from my local Audi dealer :)

Xileh, your car looks great dude.

Question about your 19" setup...were you running negative camber when you lowered your car? Reason I ask is that my 20s sit out like what your 19s did. I have H&R springs that should lower the vehicle about 25mm and am worried about it rubbing. Check my Ibis white thread for pics....

http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showth...hite-B8-S4-with-some-mods&p=954212#post954212

Thanks

No. I had stock camber and everything. My car had sline spring, and I think they lower about 25mm, så I guess the car will get about the same height. And then I had no problems with my 265-35-19" tires :)
