S4 Lambo killer!

I wouldnt exactly say "killer", they're about equal from watching that...

You probably wouldn't have looked at the thread if I'd titled it 'S4 about equal to Lambo' lol

Nice to see him give the Lambo the slip at the beginning of the clip though!

the first one is not even on a motorway. tools

I don't mind a bit of rolling drag on a nice clear 3 lane motorway, but that is just stoopid

That supra must have the largest turbo in the world, but the spod behind the wheel is a complete muppet. Not once does he have it in the right gear when actually putting the boot down, resulting in a huuuge delay before the turbo finally spools and delivers eleventy billion horsepower.

Do you not think he may have been doing it for effect? letting the lambo get away a bit then ripping past. There is a video taken from the lambo too.

that supra sounds the bo11ocks!!!

gotta agree with you aragon on the wrong gear business tho. Fail!

I think if he was in a lower gear at those speeds too it would just wheelspin, you can hear him do it a couple of times.

I would still rather have the Lambo....But that supra is mad!

id rather the Supra tbh, just to **** off all the stuck up ritch twats with lambos! lol Crack up on the lambo owners face tho... he knows hes blatently owned!!

if it were the new lambo then it would be a different story! they are just sexual!

So you would rather be in a bar and say to a bird that "i own a Lambo" or i "own a Toyota Supra"? But yea if it was a Sunday driver it would be a supra just to **** off the snobs lmao!

If that was all she was interested in she would be getting told to do one.

Not sure why anybody in a Lambo is suddenly posh/rich/**** etc.

The on board in the lambo, at the end of the clip the supra sounds like a jet!!....Fu*king mental. Would like to know some stats about the supra. Still, i bet its not as fast as my old nova hahahaha

lambo any day for me ..i love the sound of it and the looks.theres a fella near me with a 1000bhp supra hes spent 100k tunning it ,its still a supra thoe

I used to own a Supra. Those things are soooooo expensive to modify properly, I would put money on it that it has had at least £40,000 spent under the bonnet to make it THAT quick. Then add on all the equipment needed to make the chassis handle all that extra power and you might as well of saved yourself the money and bought a Lambo in the first place. Supra's are not exactly "street sleepers" or "Q cars" anyway. They have the stealth of an Al qaeda fighter running through an army barracks........

Agreed.

We all love say a scruffy Vauxhall Viva van that's packing a discreet Cosworth lump, built in a garden shed on a budget of three sheep and some beer tokens that beats a Ferrari down the strip.

What we have here though is somebody in a nasty coloured ricer that has blown maybe £70K or more on it. The Lambo secondhand probably only cost that and will will be worth that for a while to come. The Supra on the otherhand would get plonked on Ebay for £12-15K.

Which driver is the plonker?

Hardly David and Goliath here.

yep, which is why i'd never want to push an engine much past 150-175hp/litre, it just gets silly expensive.

Instead of trying to wring 400hp from a 1.8T, i'd haul it out and fit a V8 with two small lag free turbos, ending up with 500hp for less money, and more reliability.

I read this months PPC mag yesterday. a crate LS1 lump costs about £5k and comes with 400bhp out the box. requires practically no maintenance ever etc

i really have the wrong engine!

Yep, and also has a nice article on the mazda rx7. Instead of throwing money at yet another rotary build, simply drop in an LS3 and your at an instant 450hp.

Its funny because this forum has kinda half caught on to this, if someone asks about tuning a v6 or a NA I4, the general answer is "dont bother, just fit a different engine". Some forums for other car marques would be insisting you keep the motor and fit all sorts of tuning gubbins to it, and you'd end up with some cammed up throttle bodied 2.8L V6 making 260hp having just cost you in excess of 5 grand.

This forum does seem to fall over when it comes to 1.8T's though. :p
