I'm wanting to replace the rear diffuser on my A4 2.0T FSi (not s-line, but has duplex exhaust - single pipes).

The one on the car now sems to be loose & I dread to think what happens at high speed.

I've seen an alternative on e-bay that seems much more aerodynamic and has the part code 8EC071611A9AX - however these are already painted.

I'm after an unpainted one - but don't want to pay top dollar to a dealer. Can anyone suggest where I could get one?
also:
I'm wanting it to stand out - ie not paint it the same colour as the car. I'm thinking of a matt finish in black. Again my advice?

Thanks in advance,

Tim.

You may be very suprised how cheap main dealers are. I have found brand new parts on the Internet more expensive than dealers as no one really makes patent parts like this. Atleast you know you buying quality parts from the main dealer

Sorry, are you replacing because yours isnt repairable or is it cause you just want to swap it anyway, cause I would just lift car up & fix yours with say sikaflex & some well placed screws or cable ties, then get yours painted, sikaflex wont allow that to move anymore when dried out can assure you.

Thinking about replacing it - to both look better and also for aerodynamics.

ebay page may help us give opinions mate.

I think you`l find that the site on e-bay is run by Audi getting rid of old stock.

Thats a nice diffuser mate go for it.

Tried main dealer - £221.28 + VAT

Items also sold on e-bay - so I'm back to square one!!!!

anyone know where u can get the upgraded rear diffuser for the twin pipe only on the left hand side sline cars...

At last....Managed to get one through www.partsreunited.co.uk
£120+vat instead of £221+vat.

Diffuser cost me £38 - 'cause I had a £100 Customer Services Audi voucher (long story there).

Got it sprayed graphite matt colour and fitted today for £75 & it looks superb - photo's will follow.

Some cheap car parts on www.partsreunited.co.uk if you know the item code.

Nor sure of anything myself. Start a new thread & I'm sure someone out there may know.
