S3 Timing Belt

What is the Audi specified timing belt change interval on the BAM engine?

I guess it's probably the same across the 1.8T range....

That's what Audi quote.

This is what ASN members recommend, as we've seen too many horror stories of snapped cambelts on the 1.8T! Better safe than sorry in my opinion, if you are going to drive it more than 60k miles on one belt, then it's the luck of the draw wether it goes or not. And whilst it's off, it's highly recommended you get a new waterpump, as the part is under £30 and driven off the cambelt.
