Buying S3/quattro 2008 bumper but question is....

hie guyz..im new onsite will b updating my profile soon to show you what im dealing with but thought i get your valid opinion on a bumper im buying.. i have an audi a3 1.9tdi 07plate and im interested in having an s3/quattro facelift but its off a 2008 model.. spoke to the guy and he said it wld probably fit but i need a to be sure it fits b4 i buy it online? need your help please, thnx..

It wont fit mate, thats an 08 facelift bumper, you need the earlier one.

yeah anything between 2005 and 2008, the facelift happened mid 08, most of the facelifts are 58 plate or newer.

The seller might have an 08 registered car but the model year could be 09 depending on when it was built during 2008. MY09 (facelift) come out summer 08 hence the confusion

Welcome Jaybentley.

It can be confusing regarding the bumper change in 2008 that's why sometimes it's easier just to say get one that's up to 2007 as its a sure thing where 2008 isn't.
