I think you're talking at cross purposes. Even S4's with optional carbon trim still get the silver screen surround. The black/black refers to upper and lower dash which on the B8 always match so I'm not sure why they list it like that. Previous A4's could have two tone.
You can have the option of a different headliner, but the aluminium trim remains, even though I ordered carbon inlays......... Never mind,,, I think I'll be PM'ing John herman about 'blacking' it up!

Well........... I couldn't stand the wait for another new order,, I've managed to track down an unregistered showroom model in Black, with all the bits on I wanted,,, plus a lot more I didn't!

Or seat back nets .... or do you not get them on the sport seats.
Audi used to put a few more extras on S models but now there's virtually nothing (light pack).
Nice spec and very similar to what I drew up. I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much(plus the increased insurance, road tax, servicing etc) on an A4 .... especially when I won't be able to use the performance very often.

What's this about supaguard anyway.... Apparently it has been 'supaguarded' by the dealer. They wanted me to pay for it but I point blank refused. (Not sure how broker overcame it, but I'm not paying any more) Is this supaguard a bad thing....???
I also noticed that the silver dash didn't look as 'silver' (could be my imagination) maybe it was part of the 'black pack'.......??
Ah.The good thing is you didnt pay for it!!Its just that i and some others prefer the dealer not to touch it, and to get it detailed instead.So the dash doesnt look so silver?Thats a bonus!Strange about the storage pack, cos that includes the rear cup holders....you also get two pathetic cubbies under the front seats that are only useful for a packet of 10 fags!
Picked it up yesterday......... Not so sure I've done the right thing with the Stronic rather than Manual......!!! We'll see, I'm going to give myself a chance to get used to it....
Other than that, it's great.
Need to get it modified at some point, APS think they can do something, Sportec apparently already have (but it's to pricey) Maybe some millteks to make it sound nice.....??
