My A4 1.8TQ "Evolet"

Ouch!

At least it gives you the opportunity to play with it some more!

Sucks about the accident. Looks like good things are coming out of it though.

Sorry to see it damaged like that, but im guessing it will come back better than before :)

Oh no, sorry to see that mate!

Did you get the megasquirt running/tuned? If so how did the turbo perform?

Yeah, it'll be a bit more brutal than before ;)

No, unfortionally I didn't have the time to finish that then, it will be done this winter instead, I promise all of you here on audi-sport a pair of movies when it's running. :sm4:

Car looked amazing, in sure it will look ever more amazing v.soon!

The inside of the car, soon there will be a rollcage here, now I've just proteced it from rust.

I'm going to order this from 034motorsport to get a more direct steering :racer:

The roof is finaly clean now, glad it's done!

I like it here, missed it a lot [:p]

This will be good I believe.

Like the look of the FMIC.. very tidy setup with that support bar linked to the bumper brackets/mounts

Thanks! The support was actually my old teachers idea when I brought the car to school (last year). :salute:
And I can say that the FMIC and all the piping will be black before the final mount. Discreet is the way to go :sly:
Thanks for the comment!

have i missed something, im guess your not having any carpet or anything that will aid sound deadning in the car ie roof lining. door cards etc?

No, this is not my everyday car anymore. I will order a rollcage this week I think. :)

This sunday I removed the dash, anyone know how hard it is to make another dash in carbon fibre? :)

So last weekend me and my friend got a new garage!

We are currently moving in tools and so on, I'll take my car there in a few weeks.

And I got this home this thursday to, wonder what this can be [o_o]

Nah i rekon its foam pipe insulation, LOL

So now it's repaired and it has got a rollcage. I'll post up some pictures for you.

christ, at the minute i wish i had a tenth of the enthusiasm you have

interesting cage design, what make is it or is it totaly custom?
looks like it has been designed with easier access to seats in mind

Nice work.

Are you still sticking with the same engine/turbo setup? Very interested as I'll be running a very similar manifold but without the external wastegate (for now).

Thanks for the comments guys!

The Rollcage is a RallyX cage that's been a bit reedesigned for streetuse, but I have a few BIG problems that I need to sort out with the guy that mounted it, I hired him since I can't weld so very well and this don't seem so promising.

I'm not so certain about the engine setup, I think I will re-weld about the same exhaust mani but in ordinary black steel.

I'll keep you posted.

Doesen't look like it will happen anything soon, I need a new rollcage, he that mounted it ruined it. :( And I can't afford one soon.

What's wrong with the roll-cage...? Looks okay to me.

The piping isn't approved by SBF here in Sweden. And you should se the weldings. I'll PM you later so you can see those pictures.

So I'm back again...

The job on the rollcage was terrible so I cut down the rollcage and will have to buy a new one, NOT fun at all...

This was a common sight att the rollcage. Frustrated over the fact that I hired a guy to do this since I didn't trust myself with the weld.

When that was done I got quite tired of all this, and the AEB engine ain't my favorite choice, that's why I've only bought cheaper stuff before. So I sat down and thought..

And all the thinking resulted in this!!

A Audi S4 AAN I5 engine!

I just got it home so the planning is in the fullest and I'll be hedding for the garage first thing in the morning tomorrow :)

I would love to put a 5 pot in an a4 just for the sound.

He looks like the bloke that did mine in my old corsa, some people should just be honest and not waste innocent peoples time and money

Thanks!

Yeah, it's quite common to throw money away on bad work it seems. :(
