Hey everyone.
Just a quick message to say hi, and alittle bit of background info on me and my previous cars.
I live in Sunny Essex, and work for BP Oil in Milton Keynes (which is the reason for my lastest perchase).
My car history is as follows:
Vauxhaul Nova SR
Citreon Saxo VTR
Toyota Celica 190 t-sport
Seat Leon Cupra R - remapped to 259bhp/277torque.
Now my new purchase: a 2006 Audi A4 2.0TDI (140) S-line in black.

Have been the member on other forums and they have been most helpful, how many post do i need to make before i can post pics? So i can show you guys my new toy.

Hi & :sign_welcome:!!!

As far as i am aware you can post photos as soon as you join - but you need a place to put them - like a photobucket account.

Welcome, yeah just use photobucket or something similar.

Have you any mods in mind?

Cool, i have a photobucket account and got some pics to post. Will do that tmrw and let you all see my ride.
As for mods i have a list as long as my arm, but not the money to do them yet.

Another quick question, in my user CP. Why can't i see the list of subscriptions to the threads i have created or replied on??

You need to subscribe to the thread. You can do at the top of the thread under 'Thread Tools'

Cheers mate, your a star. This forum is just alittle different to what i'm used to from other forums.

Welcome to the forum mate ;)

This is where I was getting all the ideas for the mods I suggested on SCN :D

I've been browsing this part of the forum with interest, but daren't post in case I get kicked out for owning an Exeo !!! lol ;)

I must say I like the Exeo except the wing mirrors, there is something just not right with them!

Yeah cheers for the ideas, and thanks for making my to do list even longer than before, haha. Now just need to find the money to carry them out.

my mates got one of those cupra r's, rocket ship, s3 power for golf money, great car.
the a4 looks tidy, any mods due ?

Looks lovely, well ware. Looks the same as mine from the outside

I wouldn't be a fan of saxo's, some of the celica's are nice and I love the LCR. Did you mod it at all?

Mods i'm thinking of so far are:
AMD remap, new exhaust, window tints, new stereo with bluetooth (for those long journey's). I've also been pointed in the direction on the S4 Rear ARB. That should do for the time being.

The saxo was my second car and my first atempt at modding, and i think it looked pretty good, not to overboard and chavy like some you see. The celica was lovely, handled like a dream after i swapped the springs but just to hard work. The LCR was my fav by far and i really didn't want to sell but i had to due to work commitments and the need for an economical car. I did a few mods to the LCR, i had a forge 007 fitted, along with a pipercross panel filter and an AMD remap bringing it up to 250bhp with 277torque, plus a Kenwood headunit with ipod adaptor and an S3 strutt brace.

Now onwards and upwards to begin the modding on the A4

It's the RS4 rear ARB you want mate ;)

and don't forget the heated Passat 'fan' washer jets... :D

I stand corrected. RS4 Rear ARB it is, haha.
You are a devil for making my list bigger aren't you, hahahahahaha

Gave the A4 a well deserved wash and polish today, took me hours meaning i'll have to do the interior over the weekend now cause i ran out of time.
Anyway, here are a couple of pics to show you how i got on.

And finally, a couple of reflection pics:

I love the reflection pictures, especially the way it was so good you needed to use paint to get rid of the number plate!:icon_thumright:

^^^^^^ agreed, maybe you should do the same to the top two pics as i can read the plate in the reflections on them

Oops didn't notice those ones. Might change them some other time.

Welcome to the site chap - nice car, too.

I just hope the rags seen there on the floor weren't used on the bodywork ;) ?

Like the old LCR :)

Cheers mate, i'm loving the A4. The rags are microfible cloths that were thrown on the floor after use of each product. New and old (but all clean) for different parts of the clean and different products used.

The LCR was an animal and is by far the favourite car i have ever own. Defo a sheep in wolves clothing.

Nice car... now drop it low on some 19s hehe :)

I've just bought a load of cleaning kit to detail mine with... the previous owner (and me to an extent) have neglected the paint and now my car's officially 3 years old, I thought I'd give it a pampering lol

EDIT: looking at your pics, I think you should do the clear corner mod or keep an eye out on eBay for late-spec headlights - makes such a difference!

I'm getting a nice big delivery of cleaning stuff on thursday! My car really needs it!

Hopefully I can get some nice beading going on too:arco:

yeah was thinking about doing this cause don't really like the orange indicator (i'm guessing thats what you mean). What do i need to do this, i'm guessing its not just clear bulbs needed (like my last car)?????? Advice on parts would be excellent.

Didn't realise that there were different headlights. What's the difference?

Welcome aboard nice car , first thing i would do is change the wheels and tint the windows.

Yeah going to tini he windows in the new year, aswell as getting an AMD remap. They are the 1st 2 things on my list. I might get some new wheels in the summer, and then use the originals during the winter months.

i know a guy in ipswich who tints the whole car for £200, ive had 5 or 6 cars done so he gives discount on refferals !
